About

You play Bill, an ex-MMA champion turned billionaire, who has decided to cut himself off from the world by retreating to his private island. Unfortunately, he hadn't anticipated that his tranquility would be put to the test. On the same day, Bill was about to go into a rage! Young party people have landed on the beaches, an alien ship has crashed on the island, the undead have awakened, dragon and other monsters have appeared on the island, a mysterious virus has been spotted, the weather is acting up, etc. In short, it's time to put on the gloves and clean up!

The game takes place on a 5 km² island, which offers its share of caves (accessible or hidden), but also offers verticality (floating island, platforms, etc.). The island features a variety of different zones, including a volcano, snow-capped mountains, a desert, a secret hi-tech station, forests, beaches, lakes and rivers, a luxurious villa... The game features a day/night cycle and dynamic weather. An important element of the game is the easter eggs hidden everywhere, with huge nods to 80/90s and pop culture.

Raging Bill is a TPS sandbox in a mini open world It features different gameplay styles (Shooter & Melee Combat, Racing, Exploration, Loot, Bodycam, and more),
To get around the island more quickly, you'll have at your disposal a real hoverboard, zip lines, a boosted lawnmower, magic boots, jetpack, a raft, and more...
You master kung fu like no one else, but nothing stops you from throwing whatever falls into your hands (coconuts, bombs, bottles, balloons, stones, ...). Also at your disposal are weapons such as a toy blaster, plasma gun, retro gun, mines, ... But will you be able to unlock the ultimate power, which will allow you to fly and master telekinesis?
This is a physics-based game. Do you like playing with ragdolls? Then you've come to the right place!
The island is full of secret chests to find, where you can unlock cosmetic items (masks, hats, etc.), ammunition for your weapons, and other power-ups. A special chest will allow you to grow or shrink (and offers new gameplay possibilities), and other surprises to discover...
For collectors, 24 magazines featuring the hero are hidden in the game. Dozens of lost bees that you must return to their 5-star hive. And don't forget the virus that's spread across the island: destroy them all!

The game also has its share of puzzles, inaccessible areas, and various parkours that you'll have to challenge!
Are you a time trial enthusiast? Grab your remote-controlled car and speed around the island, don't hesitate to wreck everything along the way :)

Bosses are also part of the game, so it's up to you to find their weak points.

A whole bunch of accessories are unlockable (via chests or other challenges). Hint: Some will give you advantages that shouldn't be overlooked.

However, it didn't take long for me to run around and realize how empty the place felt. Honestly, I'm too bored to even be all that angry about this letdown of a game.
Gameplay
As I set out to explore my island paradise, I had high expectations for shenanigans and wacky, fun activities to do pouring out of every twist and turn. Maybe near the mansion, I'd fend off annoying tourists with high-octane kung fu, while closer to the shore, I'd use an impressive arsenal to blast alien invaders. In-between different battles, I'd pick up expensive trinkets as a time-killer, maybe never quite loading up an official mini-game, yet nonetheless switching styles of gameplay and amusement along the way. Technically, there's a few instances of things like this sprinkled around, but they're not nearly plentiful enough. Finding a basketball and struggling to sink one shot was an item on my checklist, so I guess that was supposed to count as a fun diversion. It only took longer than ten seconds to accomplish because of how finicky it was to line up the shot, and didn't make me want to shoot hoops for a moment longer. This should be an engaging activity, not a begrudging duty on a chores list. The moment that stopped me in my tracks and infuriated me was when I picked up a toy gun with only ten bullets. In a game where I'm supposed to be experiencing a total power trip, goofing off on a billionaire's island, the fake weapon I just obtained can only fire ten rounds before I'm out of ammo?! I'm stupid rich, ammo should be spilling out onto the ground like rice thrown at a wedding, but I've got less capacity than a lame NERF knock-off? Whoever made this game didn't understand their own mission, failing miserably. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3753068495
Controls
Combat is really unsatisfying, because simply walking up to an enemy and trying to hit them feels difficult, “Okay, surely I can punch this person right in front of me... except no, I somehow missed. Going for the three hit combo, and didn't connect with a single one. Cool.” Something so basic in your move set shouldn't be a matter of trial and error each time you make an attempt. This holds true for more novel interactions as well, such as when I tried numerous times to sink a basketball in the hoop. Even figuring out how to use the toy gun and fire it was a hassle.
Story
For being a supposed billionaire action star with all the best stuff, your private island is somehow incredibly exposed. How could hundreds of people casually wander onto your home otherwise, including oddballs like a sentient rock, death, and massive germs? What other choice does Bill have but to get ticked off and deal with all of these nuisances himself? Oh right, he could just buy a small army and have people do all the work for him, or even relocate to another island if it's a lost cause. You're not questioning the brilliance of this story, are you?! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3753069095
Visuals
While looking around, there was something about the visuals that was bothering me. A few objects looked unnaturally shiny, but otherwise didn't look too bad for a 3D indie title. Once I realized the problem, it changed how I saw the entire game though. You're supposed to be on a tropical island, but the starting area looks like you're in the meadow of a normal forest. Almost everything should be made up of sand and littered with palm trees, but that's not remotely the case. Aside from the shoreline, almost nothing around you fits the setting right, including when impossible locations are next to each other. For example, having a desert meant to replicate Las Vegas within proximity to a relatively short mountain range capped with snow. Somehow the billionaire is able to create an entirely unnatural area, yet couldn't be bothered to make sure there's more to do when you're there. The store page mentions AI imagery was used in the game, but only for a few things, like the comic books. After seeing as many blatant rip-offs and asset flip titles as I have, I'm not going to high horse and browbeat a developer for using AI in any capacity. From my experience, the few things I'd never use it for is the title page or promotional images, because that makes me think the entire game is nothing but AI generated slop. For me, those games always get yeeted into the never touch it with a ten foot pole category.
Sound Design
Wanting to match the setting, the soundtrack consists of several relaxing songs made up of what's probably a ukulele playing. It's a little ironic how focused the music was, while the gameplay and surroundings are all over the place. If you have any problems with the songs though, you could play your own easily enough, but I enjoy that naturally soothing sound myself. Something I found oddly lacking was any voice acting from the protagonist, a la Duke Nukem style. For a guy who's supposed to be raging, he has nothing to say when encountering all of these things that should be ticking him off. To be fair, endlessly repeating voice lines could become a Bubsy level irritant, but done right, it certainly would have given this Bill fellow some much needed personality, “Things are on my island that shouldn't be here, and that makes me quite irritated, by jove and juniper.” https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3753068116
Pros
🌟 There's no penalty for attacking people, but there is for hurting wild animals. 🌟 The checklist keeps track of your objectives.
Cons
❌ Effects last for such short durations it won't make any difference to your experience. Being giant for 60 seconds doesn't mean anything when it takes longer than that to get somewhere that it'd be relevant. ❌ There are presents all over the place, but you can't open them. That makes so much sense! ❌ Even if you find one of the game's activities, they aren't any fun to complete.
Tips
🔍 Going down is easier, so when exploring, prioritize moving upwards at first. It'd be more efficient. 🔍 You can hear when an insect is nearby.
Final Thoughts
I've heard the idea before that a boring movie is much worse than a badly written or filmed one, and this game does a decent job demonstrating that point. It's not a well made title by any means, but unlike utterly broken messes that might amuse you with how broken everything is, trying to find something to do was utterly unengaging, “Maybe I'll find something to do over here. No, even though there's a pond, I can't do anything. I've been jogging around for minutes, and still haven't found something new I can interact with.” RB felt like an open world that somebody forgot to fill with stuff. The developer was promising the sky, while never even getting off the ground. Great and very fun game! just got to get it optimized for your pc. very funny stuff, the only thing it is missing is the raging bill music from the trailer, which you can just download the mp3 file of the trailer from Youtube and the dev. has it so you can play a music file so that is pretty awesome 10/10 It has a Huge Giant Island, and lots of little memes, Such a great game Well worth the price!
Finally live :-) Let's have a lot of fun trying to complete all those crazy TODO challenges, have some bloody killing fun and more... The map is so big, lot of stuff to discover every day and hope more surprising stuff coming for our pleasure in the future.
