RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Rage 2 has good gameplay, but the story isn't great. The skills are good, and the Doom BFG is the best weapon. The game is very entertaining, and the map is large enough to explore and upgrade your gear. There's one thing that happens in Rage that usually drops your frame rate to 2 or 5, and then returns to a stable frame rate. TerrorMania is a DLC not available on Steam, but is available in the in-game store. The "Cult of the God of Death" mission is a DLC for a Nicholas Raine costume.
Rage 2 is a very seam-heavy sort of game. It was worked on by multiple teams and it shows in the worst way possible. Its two disparate sections (a corridor-based first person shooter and an open-world vehicle combat game) feel very loosely stitched together and neither is able to reach its full potential. There are occasions, altogether too infrequent, where the corridor shooter starts to feel like an honest-to-goodness id software game, and there are moments where the vehicle game feels like something Avalanche actually made, but neither is as good as previous efforts by the same developers. id also made DOOM, Quake, Quake II, DOOM 2016, DOOM Eternal and so on. They're all much better shooters than Rage 2. Avalanche made Mad Max, which is, at its lowest points, better than anything that Rage 2 has to offer. If you're really, really, curious, wait for a deep discount and get it on sale. Otherwise, skip it.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

História A trama é interessante e bem executada. Progressão A progressão do game é absurdamente boa. Recomendo! Nota: 8,5/10 Obrigado por ler!
Suicide Squad stole the pause intro from RAGE 2
I like the game overall: fun gunplay and abilities, meaningful progression, challenging enemies, quests and environments. The only thing I don't like and that kinda ruins it all: it is buggy. I mean like game-breaking-restart-your-whole-playthrough-from-scratch buggy. Especially maddening when it happens on the last mission. UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION.
TBH, this is a Mixed Bag. I liked the gameplay style, 1) Kill 1st, Loot Later, 2) Explore it now, complete it now 3) A variety of action to take, from outpost, to gas station, to Ark What i don't like, 1) Boring Car Combat, it would have been better if it play like Boderlands or Ori Rage 2) Boring Open World 3) Expensive DLC in game store, I brought the Deluxe Edition and Yet i am missing out some of the DLC. 6/10, Wait for a sale
TLDR; Its a Mad Max cross Biomutant amalgam with all the negatives and basically none of the positives. You'd expect a game with such bisexual color to be in the slightest bit quirky but its the most generic open world shooter to ever exist. Sure it looks nice at times, but the bright pink and cyan will give you a headache and a lot of the time you'll get flashbanged by the lens-aberration. The story and cast are super forgettable, the dialogue is almost always condescending towards the player and the times it isn't, its overtly in praise. The first person you meet during an intense firefight makes cutesy quips as her friends die around her, super weird and out of character. Rage 2 will crash at least once every hour, this is mostly from the spy drones being activated so avoid those like the plague. The combat is fine for maybe the first hour but it becomes so incredibly boring and easy, even on the highest difficulty! Biggest threat is gravity because when you fall a certain distance, even if you are able to survive it, it will pull you into an instant death animation, same with vehicles, some will allow you to eject whilst others are just rolling coffins. DLC is a crime. DO NOT BUY THE DLC. In the first DLC you get an island with exactly the same side objectives but the enemies are blue, that's IT. The second DLC is an arena mode; kill some enemies, go up a tower, kill some more enemies and kill a recycled boss 5 times. Now do THAT 5 MORE TIMES, and that's the DLC. Blacklist whoever thought this abysmal dogsh*t is worth $5. Though the convoy battles are pretty basic, the back and forth weakspot attacks are neat and a bit of fun. GG
HOT PINK MOHAWK APOCALYPSE
It is now The Year of Our Lord 2026, and Rage 2 has not only been sitting in my "backlog of shame" for 7 years...it has actually been sitting on my SSD, fully installed, just waiting for me to boot it up for the first time since then. Oops. (Talk about disk space management blues, huh?) And I had very good intentions of playing it way back in 2019 when it came out and I hurried to install it. But then the middling reviews came out, and I saw the screenshots showcasing copious amounts of non-punk-rock-hot-pink-mohawk-people with dirty faces and grenade launchers, and I thought: 'Ya know? I've had enough of Borderlands at the moment. I think maybe I'll play something else in the meantime.' Then, somehow, 7 years happened. But seriously, I'm glad I FINALLY circled back around to play this. I'm going to keep this discussion uncharacteristically short (for me) because I don't have too much to say other than: I liked it. Since I wasn't an early adopter (heh, not by a long shot), I didn't experience any of the serious endgame-breaking bugs that plagued so many playthroughs 7 years ago. I read some forums, and man were some people justifiably pissed. (The Cliff Notes version: The final objective marker simply would not show up for some players if they completed certain quests out of order. And Bethesda, or Avalanche, or iD never bothered patching it. Yikes.) All this bad history made me worry (especially since the game has not been touched by devs in the many years since, likely due to disappointing sales--hell, I think Avalanche doesn't even exist any more at this point?). But thankfully my playthrough here in 2026 was surprisingly bug-free. That helped me to like the game more. The fast, explosive running and gunning (with a cool variety of firearms) is, of course, still pretty top-notch. Back in 2019, the open world was criticized as ultimately dull, albeit wonderfully rendered. Having completed maybe 90% of the locations before my endgame, I can't say I agree with the dull part of that assessment--and the game still does look pretty good. Of course, here 7 years later, I have lovely "products" like the horrendously cut-n-paste Starfield to compare it to, and Rage 2's world is at least full of mostly unique, handcrafted locations. Sure, the whole game has an almost singular "barren desert" vibe to it (though there is a more green swampy area as well), but each location provided me with some variety in layout at least. Maybe after the procedurally-generated-cookie-cutter-fest of Starfield, I'm just easily impressed. Plenty of weaknesses, of course. The characters are so damn thin, they may as well not even exist. Really, they are just walking, talking tropes (gruff soldier, tough lady, kooky scientist, evil robot guy) made for 13-year-old console boys to ignore, which is a shame. (Although I will add here that the game does not stoop to the lows of Borderlands' tiresome fart jokes--while on the surface, Rage 2 may not look like it has a particularly serious tone, I'd say it mostly avoids adolescent stupidity.) And on that same note, I wish Avalanche and iD would've tried to retain some of the moodiness and atmosphere of the original Rage, which I also liked. But instead, they mostly swapped out the gray and brown grim apocalypse for those dumb, hot pink mohawks. Meh. And boy, was I excited when I came across an entire wrecked city block, tilted massive skyscrapers rising to the horizon. So cool! But my excitement died when I realized all of it was just set dressing and I couldn't enter any of the apartment buildings. Meh. Beyond the shooting, the driving is fine too. Existing reviews are full of folks grousing about the vehicle handling as too floaty, or too tanky, or too whatever. But again, I can't say I agree. I enjoyed driving from location to location on the dusty, twisty roads. There are some pretty spectacular mountain sunsets to see along the way too. (Though take note: If you really, really suck at driving in games, there is a forced mission where you have to win a race in order to advance the plot--so that could be a sticking point for any of you folks out there who have a hobby of racking up DUIs.) Yeah, 7 years later, I somehow managed to circle back and enjoy Rage 2 enough to dump 50 hours into it. Oh, and I got to cross exactly 1 whole game off my backlog of shame. Now, there's only 399 more to go...
The issue with Rage 2 its an open world checklist game. practiclly all the quests are all the same. go here clear out this area. also the writing both the first game and this sequel have villains called the authority. seriously its that stupid. protaginist is dull too. combat is fun. thats about it.
