I came into this game with zero prior knowledge of morse code and had to use a reference chart outside of the game. With the chart and the in-game tutorials I picked up the mechanics fairly quickly. In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and came away with a greater appreciation of the technology and cryptography as a whole, and would solidly recommend it. (My only gripe would be having to use the mouse to operate the transmitter, I would've liked to be able to use the keyboard.)
Really disappointed. I purchased the game to learn more about how to be a radiotelegraphist. Like a tutorial. But on the other hand, seems more like a game for radiotelegraphists. It doesn't explain anything at all. There's no motivation to play the game, since you feel lost and confused about how it works. Suggestions for the next update: - Include a full tutorial about Morse codes (preferable with a voice recorded tutorial), but it'd work just with text and a guideline; - Include a full tutorial on how Telegraphists should work in their job. Strategies and tips. Example: should I write first and then type the Morse code? How types first, who listens, or who wants to send a message? What is a Radiotelegraph for? The game doesn't sell by itself. There's no reason or good reason to buy the game. Although the idea is really good, it's poorly implemented. It also seems that the messages are really basic ones. It should work like in real life, "real people" (NPC) requesting to send messages or receive messages. Or big news from the world at the time to be sent. I know that the game is really cheap. But I would pay more or buy a DLC for a better experience on it. I don't know whether it's on the game, since I TOTALLY COULDN'T PLAY IT! P.S.: I'LL CHANGE THIS ANALYSIS WHEN THE GAME BECOMES BARELY PLAYABLE...
Been a CW ham for 40 years, and hell if I can get this program to work. (Also, the lamp on the table isn't illuminating anything, so the log books and Morse key are in pitch blackness...)
Absolutely horrible UI experience!! It cannot decipher the simplest code input---- when I use my actual CW keyer and radio, I sound just fine on a single key--- when in the game, I sound like I've never touched a key ever... This should be an OPEN SOURCE game so we can go in fix this. It might have had potential at one time....but it was just poorly done.
It's an okay game. Kinda hard, meaning I haven't completed the first day yet, but it's fun. Now that I have one time unit as 200 ms I can broadcast :) Original review: Unless you're good at morse code it's not worth it. I can't play cuz I'm just not fast enough to broadcast the whole message. Well I'm guessing that's why nothing is happening. Maybe if I could decide how many words per minute and use Farnsworth speed I could play. Or an option (toggleable ofc) to see what i just broadacasted, like in the tutorial, so I know where I messed up. As of now it's hopeless :(
the game needs more detailing of what means the messages shown - checking to show the message sent, what means '^' ? and '/' , and the large sequence of numbers (all time has been zeros) after '#' ? it has been difficult to calibrate velocity of sending dit-dat - 100ms is default but still hard to get notion of close velocity to that time, having an example or a way that returns the times we send perhaps could help (e.g. sending key, it returns not only feedback of what it was grasped , e.g. '.^.^.^/- #00000000 ' , but a section of that callibration - e.g. i send 'A', dit-dat, it shows like 100ms - 100ms - 300ms ;

Не получилось поиграть, такое чувство, что источник света пропал, всё темно, светится только лампа на столе, записи в блокнотах еле видны. Для записи текста, на карандаш нажать так и не получилось
