About
The Raid of Brunswick is a game that is missing many features like progress saving, optimizations and QoL improvements. The game will not be updated or receive any bug fixes.
May 22, 1944.
The war in Europe rages on, and the night sky belongs to the bomber crews.
You are aboard an Avro Lancaster, part of a Royal Air Force operation tasked with striking a strategic target in Brunswick. As the aircraft crosses hostile skies, each man on board carries a vital responsibility. Pilot, navigator, bombardier, wireless operator, gunner — every role matters. Every decision counts.
The game takes players through multiple crew positions aboard the Lancaster bomber, presenting a conceptual overview of each crew member’s responsibilities. You will intercept messages as the wireless operator, plot the route as the navigator, fly the aircraft as the pilot, release the bombs as the bombardier, and defend the aircraft as the gunner.
The Raid of Brunswick is a game that was intended to be a commemoration of the Lancaster bomber crew that participated in the raid and crashed near Groningen on May 23, 1944.
In memory of all Lancaster crews of World War II, whose service shaped the freedom we know today.

The game is a series of very simple and quick 'puzzles' as best to describe it. You move from each station and complete a task like deciphering a code or marking out the flight path on a map etc. They are the exact same each time you play so very low replayability It is meant as a memorial to a real bomber crew, and less of being the most captivating simulation game of the year, But it definitely helps imagine what working on a bomber might have been like, multiple dudes all doing very complex and important tasks, depending on each other to do their jobs well in order to do their own jobs correctly. But as for the game itself, its a quick bit of fun, 6/10
You can play through the entire game in 5 minutes and get every achievement just for playing. I can't not recommend it because its free and there isnt anything inherently wrong with the game. I feel like this game was maybe some kind of passion project perhaps? Either way, nothing bad to say other than the fact that i don't understand the gunner segment. I thought that was a friendly plane? Rockets? lol it made me laugh.

Oyuncuların, İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında Brunswick'e yapılan tek bir bombardıman sırasında Lancaster bombardıman uçağı mürettebatının rolünü üstlendiği birinci şahıs bakış açılı bir simülasyon oyunudur.
Yeah not a lot to it
The Raid Of Brunswick is a very short pseudo-simulation of a WW2 Lancaster bomber mission. It does not attempt to accurately portray the internal appearance of a Lancaster, the tasks of the air crew (pilot, navigator, radio operator, gunner, bombardier), or even the noise and tension of a real mission, but rather to give a vastly simplified glimpse into some aspects of a bombing raid. But mostly the game is a tribute to a real crew of seven young men on a real Lancaster, of whom five perished on their return flight from their German target of Brunswick, and as such is to be applauded. There are achievements for performing brief & simple tasks in each of the five crew stations, and one more for opening the "ground crew" credits.
Took longer to download and install than it takes to play the game. Definitely pass on this.
