Fun game for the first few levels, but the difficulty doesn't scale well; it's impossible to consistently get beyond the first few levels. As a result you end up playing the first 3-4 levels over and over again, which gets old fast. Also, the leaderboard server is defunct, so you can't compare your scores to others. I'm not even sure your old high scores are saved.

'Race The Sun' was a legendary early free PS Plus game on the PS4. The main appeal was that this game would have daily refreshing leaderboards, and a daily refreshing procedurally generated map that players would compete on. It was a good bit of casual fun. Unfortunately, the developer seems to have abandoned the Steam version, and the servers no longer work. It appears that you are perpetually stuck on one singular world, and there are no leaderboards. I would not bother with this until that is fixed.

Racing games are all about control and feel. And in this game these just didn't work for me. It is hard to explain exactly, but it just felt like I can't control the vehicle accurately. Generally speaking controlling the vehicle was not fun and engaging for me.
