Race Race Racer

Race Race Racer is a low poly 3D racing game not too different from OutRun, but much worse. This looks a lot like an asset flip, although I couldn't find a precise match, there are Unity asset packs that the developer has used but not credited the actual creators. Plagiarism, claiming the work of someone else as your own, is highly unethical... especially when you do this for profit, as the developers are doing here. The game itself is highly dumbed down and lacks graphics or performance or gameplay tweaks, which you'd expect from a Russian asset flip. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Race Race Racer is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.

It's a lot of fun to play, I loved playing horizon chase turbo on my ps4 and I enjoyed this game too :).

No controller support. No exit / quit button (you have to alt-tab). Car goes in reverse if you take the finger off the accelerator key. Если ткнуть на имя разработчика можно увидеть с десяток подобных андро-юнити-недоигр. Все они однотипные без всякого намёка на карьерный рост. Поэтому вкладывать в него свои копеечки не рекомендую. Что-то в игре цепляет, но графика слишком упрощена. Невнятная физика и коллизии ударов\столкновений. Тут в купленных обзорах вспоминают и сравнивают игру с ретрогонками. Наверно, c Outrun-подобными. Но нет. Это либо враньё, либо обзор писал идиот. Нет кнопки "выход" из игры.

god, why does this exist? lmao everything about it is just awful and is a plain ripoff of Horizon Chase Turbo except you don't have laps, the game is boring & collisions suck ass...even if this game is free, it is definitely not worth your time

It's like a really good, really fun, colorful, loud 80's arcade game, complete with "period" electronic arcade music. You would have blown at least $50 in quarters on this one back in the day. The game is so old skool that you can practically smell the stale smoke, the cheap perfume of the mall ratz, and the foul hygiene of the arcade attendant. Turn the lamps low, switch on some black lights, and have a HUGE amount of fun.
