Raccoon Cocoon: A Cozy Puzzle Game

Cute little game. As everyone is saying it's like "A Little to the Left" but on the easier side. Took me under an hour to complete but I enjoyed it. Paid under $3 for it on sale so totally worth it if you want a cozy game to do while eating breakfast and drinking your tea :-D

In a nutshell: If you're considering this because you loved A Little To The Left, just go back and play ALTTL again. It's a very basic and unsatisfying ALTTL wannabe with repeated puzzles, that misses all the little UI and audiovisual design things that made ALTTL so popular. Better than some other clones with the visual design I guess, since it tries a little more with the pixel art. But a lot of the levels are rather finnicky with placement, where I knew I had it right but the piece needed to be nudged with the mouse 10x within the same space to get it to count. And other levels were very unintuitive, like the color addition stuff with the fans (not colorblind friendly, btw) or the pancake tower. I'd give it a pass, or if you're *that* curious maybe try it for 30 mins and refund if you're not feeling it. It's not like it's long. But I've played a lot of these types of games, and I don't think it was worth wasting the time on. Some people might be drawn to this because of the raccoons, but while the idea behind it is cute with the implied raccoon family, they only show up in the jigsaw puzzle levels (which are super annoying when every piece is at the maximum wrong rotation so you have to click 8ish times to get it oriented correctly) and the same bored knitting grandma racoon animation for every. single. loading. screen. That's it. The rest are basic 'organize this stuff' object puzzles without raccoons.

评分：1.5/5 评测：挺一般，整体同类型对比的应该是《向左一点》，但是差早了，问题很多。首先是关卡过于单调，很多的排列组合通关方式都能设计出很多种，但是这个游戏却都只有使用了一种，而且还都是最平庸的那种，明明有许多更好的选择。其次游戏的玩法太少，最明显的就是单16格拼图就有不下3个，重复的相当高。然后游戏还用了逆天颜色的橙底白字，啥都看不清，非常难评。整体的体验很差，不推荐

cute little cozy game

The game is fine, lacks the polish of A little to the left, and is very short. It's decent though I got a little frustrated when things don't do what I expect. (EG: couldn't move snowflake because it was on top of a ice cream cone)

It took me 90 minutes to complete the whole thing, including the extra winter levels at the end. Almost all were extremely easy, some could barely even be called puzzles. (All you do is straighten the pictures? Really, that's IT?) Some levels I had issues with due to the difficulty of picking things up, often it would take several clicks before I was able to grab an item and move it. And two or three levels were VERY picky about the exact placement of items, where most others would self-adjust as long as you were in pretty much the right spot. So it's a hesistant recommendation. Get it on sale, it doesn't feel worth it for full price even though it's not expensive. I paid a bit under $5 (CDN) and I suppose it was 90 minutes of mild entertainment for the price of a moderately-fancy coffee, but I still found the game frustrating at times - often because it was just too easy rather than too hard! I know it's meant to be relaxing, but I personally didn't find it so. The game is cute, and an easy 100% if that's what you want, but I hope to see a little more challenge in the studio's next project. There's relaxing, and then there's sending your audience to sleep... ;)

If you got your copy of A Little To The Left from Temu, this would be it. The game wasn't expensive, but it also wasn't interesting, charming, or challenging, other than pixel hunting on some levels. It also directly copied some levels from the aforementioned game in watered-down form. Avoid.

it's like warioware but without any time pressure. It has fiddly controls, and the puzzles are underwhelming or barely puzzles. I got stuck on one and the hint was entirely unhelpful. Also, this game is not colorblind friendly
