Fun in its simplicity
It was an ordinary night, I perused the steam store main page for games to play, when I had uncovered a recommendation by one of my friends. Vainly I rustled through the reviews and description of various elated members, thinking this some mere indie puzzle game which I would have no qualms with. But it was no ordinary game. I am greeted with simplistic artstyles, washed colors and shades of frank colors, expected from the materials, circumstances and thematic of the game. I quickly accustomed myself with the controls, acknowledging the rapping of the rat's tiny feet on the floor and the thrum... the thrum of the ambience. There, my mind began to wonder. The monotony, repetetive and suffocating decorum had began to slowly chisel this almost ordinary slab of labyrinthine carboard into a baleful introspective visage of my own predicaments. And I came to understand the true meaning of this game and the machinations which unfolded before my very eyes. It was an allegory. Stuck was the rat in the labyrinth, never knowing whether the path he took was right, only by traveling it is he able to discern the truth. And said truth, most of the time was that the road would eventually lead to a dead end, a plutonian shiver running down my spine each time I had uncovered such a passage; which I so blissfuly followed due to the green hue which highlighted my objective. But it was all for naught. This 'game' presents us with a well-known verity. Even if we believe and are hinted at a path which we could take, it does not necessarily mean it is the correct one, and the only way to find out is to walk it ourselves. And if it turns out to be a dead-end ? We must remember our way back, trace it and begin anew, before we may, eventually, find the right path to move forward. Lest we waste more of our ever-moving, merciless and indifferent time
Its a fun little maze run. Bop the button, get your pellet and onto the next larger maze. I love the mouse shaped shadow. Have a few minutes to kill before heading to work? R.A.T.T.Z. maze is great to wake up with.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! https://youtu.be/JHOpxMqBdRo Playthrough Video above ;) Great indie game, I had a lot of fun playing this and will come back to it as it further develops. The mechanics explain themselves instantly and the levels get much harder as they go on. Very much enjoyed putting my skin into this little cute rat and experience a maze from the viewpoint of those tiny four feet. Looking forward to see how the game further develops, high five to the developer!
I cannot wait for the next upgrade! Need to work on beating my time for a better control run! Got wondrously lost a few times! Looking forward to more mazes!
this is a new generation brain maze enrichment system!
