I first played Quell on the iPhone 10 years ago and rediscovered it here. It is a cool puzzle game that definitely challenges your brain. The built-in guide makes the game easy to understand.
Good relaxing puzzle game with a fair difficulty, if you enjoyed the other games you'll like this one too, it has less mechanics than memento so it's not as overwhelming at later levels
Quell Reflect is a relaxing puzzle experience developed by Fallen Tree Games Ltd and published by Green Man Gaming Publishing. Rather than relying on action or fast-paced mechanics, the game embraces a slower, more thoughtful approach that rewards patience, observation, and logical thinking. As the sequel to the original Quell, it expands on its predecessor with more sophisticated puzzle design, an emotionally driven atmosphere, and an artistic presentation that transforms each level into a peaceful mental exercise. Its understated style proves that engaging gameplay does not require constant excitement, but instead can thrive through carefully crafted challenges and a calming environment. The core gameplay revolves around guiding a droplet across grid-based stages by moving in one of four directions. Once a move is made, the droplet continues sliding until it reaches an obstacle, meaning every decision affects the entire puzzle. While the controls remain extremely simple, the level design steadily introduces fresh mechanics and increasingly intricate layouts that require players to think several moves ahead. Each chapter gradually builds upon previous ideas, encouraging experimentation and strategic planning without ever feeling unfair. The result is a rewarding progression system where every completed puzzle feels earned through careful reasoning rather than luck. One of the game's greatest strengths is its ability to remain challenging while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. There are no strict timers or stressful mechanics forcing players to rush through levels. Instead, Quell Reflect invites players to slow down and carefully study each puzzle before acting. Even when solutions are elusive, the game rarely becomes frustrating because it encourages thoughtful problem-solving instead of punishing mistakes. This balanced approach makes it equally enjoyable for experienced puzzle enthusiasts and newcomers looking for a relaxing yet intellectually stimulating experience. Visually, Quell Reflect delivers an elegant hand-painted aesthetic that perfectly complements its reflective tone. Soft colors, detailed environments, and subtle animations create a soothing backdrop that enhances immersion without distracting from the puzzles themselves. The minimalist interface allows players to focus entirely on solving each challenge while still appreciating the artistry of every stage. This restrained visual design gives the game a timeless quality that remains appealing long after its release. The audio presentation is equally impressive, featuring a gentle piano-based soundtrack composed by Steven Cravis. The music blends seamlessly with ambient sound effects to create an atmosphere of calm introspection. Rather than demanding attention, the soundtrack quietly supports the gameplay, encouraging concentration while reinforcing the emotional themes woven throughout the experience. Every completed puzzle feels accompanied by a sense of tranquility, making the game particularly enjoyable during relaxed play sessions. Beyond its mechanics, Quell Reflect introduces a subtle narrative exploring themes of memory, loss, hope, and personal reflection. Instead of relying on lengthy dialogue or cinematic storytelling, the game communicates its emotional depth through imagery, atmosphere, and gradual progression. This understated narrative approach leaves room for personal interpretation while giving additional meaning to the puzzle-solving journey. The emotional backdrop never overshadows the gameplay, but it adds enough substance to make the overall experience feel more memorable than a traditional abstract puzzle game. Replay value comes from perfecting puzzle solutions, earning achievements, and improving efficiency by completing stages in fewer moves. Players who enjoy optimizing strategies will find plenty of opportunities to revisit earlier puzzles and discover more elegant solutions. Although the game does not rely on extensive content or endless replayability, its carefully designed puzzles remain enjoyable to revisit, especially for completionists aiming to master every challenge. Quell Reflect succeeds because it understands exactly what it wants to be. It offers an intelligent collection of well-designed puzzles wrapped in beautiful artwork, relaxing music, and a quietly emotional narrative. While players seeking fast-paced action may find its deliberate pacing too gentle, those who appreciate thoughtful puzzle design and meditative gameplay will discover a highly rewarding experience. Its combination of accessibility, creativity, and emotional subtlety allows it to stand out within the puzzle genre, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to exercise their mind in a calm and satisfying way. Rating: 9/10

I thoroughly enjoy playing all of the Quell games.
Норм
Another nice little puzzle game and quick 100% Achievements!
