Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A series of train robberies leads to evidence of a government conspiracy. A mysterious deck of cards gives a young girl a vision of another world. A fleet of deadly airships burns a path across the Imperial frontier. The world’s unlikeliest hero manifests tremendous magical power. These stories intertwine in the world of Quartet. Before it is all over, the eight heroes will uncover how a secret, centuries-old conflict literally reshaped the world. Then they will have their own decision to make about the destiny of magic.

Quartet is a 20-30 hour RPG that begins with four separate stories, playable in any order. Those stories come together, giving the player a final party of eight characters. In combat, the player can deploy four of those characters at a time, with the ability to quickly swap in any of the four “reserve” characters. When a character swaps in, they immediately take their turn. While characters are in the reserves, they regenerate their AP at an enhanced rate. This allows clever players to hit the enemy with a never-ending stream of their best attacks, by swapping characters in at just the right moment.
Like any good RPG, exploration is a key gameplay element in Quartet. Climb ropes, traverse dangerous cliff gaps and discover secret paths and be rewarded with powerful and rare loot, and with 8 playable characters, Quartet has a lot of rare loot and secrets to uncover.

Eight characters fight against enemies in turn-based combat. The player can deploy four characters at a time, with the ability to swap in any of the four reserve characters. Swapped characters are able to immediately take a turn. While characters are in the reserve, they continue to regenerate their AP, allowing tactically savvy players to hit the enemy with a never-ending stream of their best attacks.
Combat is fast-paced, turn-based, and full to the brim with TONS of special abilities to use. Each character and enemy turn are shown in the turn queue on the right, allowing the player to plan devastating and timely tactical strikes.
Players can unleash multiple elemental and physical abilities to exploit enemy weaknesses.
AP automatically regenerates after a hero's turn. So don't be stingy—spam those spells!
In Quartet, you control 4 characters on the front line, with the other 4 ready to jump into the action at any time. Ready to bring out your heavy-hitter or an emergency healer? Swap in seamlessly from the reserve party! Swapped-in characters take their turn immediately, with no penalty.
While characters are in the reserves, they also regenerate their ability points (AP) more rapidly, making swapping a crucial element of combat.
From the steampunk-inspired streets of Leornia to the forests on the barbarian frontier; from the cursed marshes of Tyche to the underworld warehouses of Seren, Quartet offers lots to explore.
Exploration is absolutely worth your while. With eight party members to equip, you need lots of gear, and a lot of it comes out of a treasure chest.
We have a hippo as a playable character.

Reviews
Short indie RPG very inspired by the classics, both in gameplay and the art style. The progression stystem and the battle mechanincs allowing to freely swap members was a lot of fun. For the price it has, totally recommended

If you like turn-based RPGs from the SNES era, then you'll probably like Quartet. It's competent and pretty good all around, if a bit by-the-books. The writing and characters are okay--certainly competent, but there are few moments with a big emotional impact, and the characters are pretty one-note and static. The graphics are nice, and the soundtrack is quite good (arguably the best part of Quartet), with a wide range of song types. The combat is fine--it's what you'd expect. Fans of exploration won't love this one, as it's mostly on rails until the endgame, and at that point it feels more like completing a tedious sidequest to-do list before taking on the final boss. Overall Quartet is good, if a bit safe. It's competent, seems like it was made with passion, and has the framework of a classic, but there's nothing it does exceptionally well enough for it to quite reach the level of a classic. 7/10.
If you are a fan of classic JRPGs and looking to scratch an itch...playing this game! My lazy ass forgot to leave a review after completing it but even months later I still fondly remember this game. There are some loveable character here with some very fun combat! Id do PROS and CONS but since my memory isn't fresh id just give it all PROS.
Really enjoyed this one, nice throwback to classic JRPGs and I felt this really punched above its weight class. Story was much better than expected, with a few moments that really surprised me. Ben's dialogue especially was genuinely funny, and there were some references sprinkled about that I thought were hilarious. Music was really wonderful too. Gameplay was pretty fun. The exploration was simple but I appreciated that. Combat was straightforward enough, but you could cheese it a bit by the end game with a combination of abilities, which I also appreciated since it rewarded team synergy. One criticism would be the sidequesting at the end -- it was pretty hard to find my way around the world map without any location labels. Not a dealbreaker by any means, though. Would definitely recommend!
Can recommend to anyone who enjoys classic RPGs!
It's a very ambitious Chrono Trigger inspired JRPG, where multiple character stories come together. The pixel art and worldbuilding is excellent. But I wish there was a way to auto-scroll long sections of dialogue.
