About
Quantum Suicide is a game of betrayal, deception and romance in the cold depths of space.
This science fiction thriller visual novel tells the tale of an intergenerational mission and its diverse crew, fighting against a deadly AI (and each other) for the chance to survive. Strategy, love interests and quantum mechanics await you. Your choices change the fate of everyone in Quantum Suicide.
You play as a researcher aboard a spaceship on an epic mission to find humanity a new home. The mission is jeopardized by a corrupted A.I system that forces you to play "The Deletion Game", a weekly game where you must battle your crew mates for survival. Prepare to make both friends and enemies of your crew members as you play through rounds of "The Deletion Game". Can you see the Everett's mission through to the end...alive?
Quantum Suicide features:
- Over 30 different endings
- The choice to play as a boy or a girl
- 7 romance endings (Including 3 Male, 3 Female and the A.I. system)
- The romance options have their own sexual preferences - (romance and friend zone endings depending on your choices)
- Original Soundtrack
- Available in English and Japanese, with full voice acting
- Death around every corner
Can you see the Everett's mission through to the end...alive?
*Please Note: Quantum Suicide does not follow traditional dating simulator/game structure of a point or flag system - narrative branches are based on character deaths. It is also a requirement to play as both the male and female protagonist in order to achieve the true ending.
Questionable design choices, I know, but whats done is done and you have been warned :)*

I remember volunteering at a comic con at the anime station, and the producer lady was there advertising this game. Had lots of fun drawing the profile of Nikolas, and I was simply moved by the lady's passion and dedication. I am glad I came across this game after meeting the producer back in 2016 and wish the producer all the best. <3

If you liked Danganronpa and/or Zero Escape, you'll like this.
I definitely enjoyed, but I can see many reasons why others would not - if you're looking for a finely polished VN with a tight story and mystery, this isn't it. Instead you've got here something with a big ambition and a lot of heart put into making it, some fun characters with not a single one I dislike, some gruesome and horrifying Bad Ends, and some saucy CGs with flirty Romance Options too, the art is good, the rollback feature is smoother than any other VN I've seen, and there's a branching tree you can jump back on if you're hunting for another route Heavily inspired by Danganronpa (a bit too heavily by all the references!) and Zero Escape You awaken to find yourself aboard the Spaceship Everett, a deep space generation ship on its hundreds of years long mission. Your own memories are hazy, and the crew don't seem happy to have picked you up. As it turns out, your presence has activated a previously unknown dormant AI called D.A.I that has decided the ship is over capacity, and clearly the best way to solve this issue is via lots and lots of killing. Day to day you'll spend time with the crew members learning about your new home, before being sat down by the murderous DAI to explain the rules of the latest social deduction game that will weed out someone for execution, and over time try to think over a way out of this situation. Old research left in the labs may hold the key, but time is running out! On the plus sides, I really like all of the characters. They're not hugely fleshed out but they all feel warm and amicable under the right conditions, if you're on a romance route with someone their flirting is exceptional, and everyone shines a little bit in some routes or others The art, CGs and much of the dialogue is great The opening track is great, been stuck in my head for a week now There's quite a few juicy mysteries left in different routes that had me taking a lot of notes and theorising which I love to do! The Neutral Voice acting is hit and miss, it's amazing to see it feature JP and EN audio for such a small studio, and for once I actually preferred the EN voices! Very unlike me. Some like Dai, Shizuka, Katashi, Yoshiki and Melody absolutely nail their roles, others do have talent clearly but their recordings are very poor quality or lines are delivered flatly in bizarre places. Dai feels like quite a different character when you flip the voice language! The Bad The interface feels harsh and basic, everything from sprites/text/menus are hard cuts There are some bugs, particularly around the Bidding Wars game, the results display is a catastrophe and you have to ignore it totally
The branching is... formulaic. The Deletion Games have highly over complicated rules that take ages to explain and fully understand, where betrayal and trust seem to be a big part of them, and where almost anyone could die from our actions! but in reality the game results will cheat, shift around and give us only give us 2-3 options, and when you boil it down, almost none of your choices have any effect, even your romance is dictated by who died recently, not who you've spent (any) time with The story is rough, you've got clear good elements A B and C but the pieces between them are in general paper thin. 95% of the game is spent going over in fine detail how well we did or did not sleep the night before. We'll have maybe a 5 minute conversation with someone, then go back to bed. So many mystery elements.. go nowhere. A lot of important sounding statements are made, rules laid down, then broken elsewhere without so much as batting an eyelid. Huge hints are dropped, then are never brought back. I feel like there was so much room to weave a story within the story, to turn Ai/Dai's dynamic up to 11, to flesh out characters or tie up a ton of loose ends, but.. no such luck here
The game did really grow on me, I was able to gloss over the downsides and just enjoy what is a really impressive effort from such a tiny studio, there are things I wish I could fix or change, but I'm glad I played it.
I think this game is quite solid. If you enjoy games in this genre then this is right for you -- that said, it's not nearly as polished as some other Uchikoshi-inspired works. After wrapping up every ending, it was worth the play, even if there wasn't ever a huge reveal in the end. I did really hope that the minigames were going to be harder to figure out, but the nature of the game basically just means you try most permutations until you get the ending you want. The secret endings are hidden behind some rather obtuse gates (I was putting in any line of text that seemed viable until a thread told me it was an extension of what I assumed it was). It was a bit of a miss in otherwise a strong game. I really loved the idea and execution of D/AI so much that I was surprised it hasn't been done in a mainline game; they were cooking with it and honestly worth the price tag just to experience that.
I recently played the Zero Escape games again and yearned for more. And so i googled for similar games. This game came up and i was happy. But my happiness didn't last very long. The initial Story was intriguing but several problems hindered me from enjoying it. The music that didn't fit into the narrative, was often to happy or peaceful even if the stakes should be high. The choices that i made often didn't make any difference. The relationships are weirdly handled. For example:
Suddenly Shizuka was in my bed and i didn't even know why because there were no explanation or even indication that she would act like that or why she would act like that.
The characters had nothing really going for them and even were sometimes simply badly written. For example
Beatrix and Nikolas tried to kill the Protagonist in the first game because they wanted to avenge their parent (can't remember if mother or father) and it only was mentioned in some lines later in a certain route. And even than it was just waved off, Like "yeah that happend.... moving on." And i know that the protagonist said he would have acted the same way if he were in their shoes and it is fine. But why was all animosity from the twins gone in an instant? Why act after several days after the death of a loved one like that only to let it drop entirely a few hours later. I wished they would have been a little more hostile or they would betray you at some point. It would have been a little more entertaining.
I didn't finish this game so far and i don't know if i will. And i find it sad that it has to be like that. If i could i would try a refund but as it stands i can't do that. So i just see the money i spent on this game as a support for fans that wanted to make a game that holds the candle for the games that hold me up at night because i couldn't let them or the stories go. I hope they learned from their mistakes and from their accomplishments and try to better next time.
Couldn't even make it past the first execution. The art wasn't bad but to include blurry sprites along with cleaner ones is off-putting. The voice acting for the English Dub was honestly atrocious. The game play that I experienced felt like it was made on a PowerPoint without the cool transitions. The story itself was not interesting enough for me to keep playing. I am sad and disappointed at this as I was really excited to play this game. :(
bugged dialogue, unsatisfying story
