When I got this game, I already knew I would have a fun time, as I played the demo in LA comic con, and to be honest, 12$ isn't THAT expensive, plus when writing this there's a sale currently, so get this game now!
Excellent head-scratching game! Managing several men in different parts of the screen at the same time is much more complicated than expected, and it's really funny. I recommend this game, which you can play for 2 hours without stopping, or for 5 minutes if you only have time to play one level.
I played through a handful of levels before deciding this was absolutely not a game I was going to enjoy. Controlling multiple characters at once is done really well here, but you really have to enjoy that sort of thing to enjoy the process. And I don't, so I don't. Nothing wrong gameplay wise, this is just obviously not for me.
SAUTE
Really liked it so far ! Had a blast in coop with a friend. Loved being surprised by what you can do with really simple mechanics 10/10 great game
Quadroids offers a clever and fresh game design that leans more toward puzzles than traditional platforming. With new mechanics introduced in every chapter, the game provides a lot of content—especially if you aim to collect everything, beat the time limits, and complete levels in as few moves as possible. (There are 130 levels in total.) Some of them are bonus levels where things get chaotically fun, with tons of robots on screen. You rarely control all four robots on the four screens at the same time. Instead, the challenge lies in quickly switching your focus between screens and pressing the right button (usually jump) at just the right moment. The time medals are pretty generous, but if you want to truly speedrun the levels, it gets really tough—at least for my brain! The dialogue and cutscenes are funny, and the chapter soundtracks are long enough that they don’t feel repetitive or overly looped. I honestly don’t have much negative to say, aside from a few particularly difficult levels. It’s just a bit disheartening to see this game so underappreciated. Nowadays i strongly support indie games, huge thanks to the initial positive reviews on Steam for convincing me play it!
Trying to go fast is hard 10/10
Bravissimo, very good game, hope to see it speedrunned soon!
