About

In Puzzling Places you piece together 3D jigsaw miniatures of locations from around the world. There are no scores or timers — just the simple, relaxing joy of connecting pieces and discovering small details along the way.
Would you like to attend a medieval wedding in the Spanish royal palace? Explore Mont-Saint-Michel, a French abbey perched on a small tidal island in Normandy? Or wander a cozy Alsace street corner with flowers and playful cats?
The game features 18 unique locations from around the world, each rich in detail, accompanied by distinctive soundscapes, with some featuring small story moments and subtle animations.

Whether you’re a dedicated jigsaw enthusiast who enjoys long sessions with hundreds of pieces, or you just want to unwind by snapping together a few, every puzzle is available in multiple piece counts and two game modes—so you can choose the playstyle and level of challenge that suits you:
Classic Mode: You get all pieces at once and sort and assemble freely, just like a traditional jigsaw
Journey Mode: Start from a single piece and puzzle in small batches for a calmer, more guided experience. Ideal for casual play, short sessions, or when you just don’t want to deal with “the big pile.”
Multiple Piececounts: Each puzzle is available in 25, 50, 100, 200, 400 pieces - and some even 800 or 1000 pieces!

Puzzle comfortably on your desktop PC, on the go with Steam Deck, or fully immersed in a VR Headset —
Puzzling Places has been optimized across all three platforms.
Playing in VR? Team up with a friend in 2-player online co-op and solve puzzles together (VR platforms only).

This is very cool. If you like jigsaws and want to try something new, I'd recommend it. That said, it's not perfect. I've played I think around a third of the 18 puzzles so far, and some were a lot more fun than others. The way the pieces are 3D slices of the surface of a model, means that sometimes you get really odd, spiky shapes, especially when it's a photogrammetry-based puzzle with some blobby/distorted sections. The camera also can be a bit fiddly when trying to look at awkward inside corners of a model to place the last few pieces. (I imagine that's less trouble in VR but I'm not a VR user.) But then again I see the devs just put out a patch with some quality-of-life fixes so this will probably improve in the future. But overall I like it, and it's neat to see the possibilities of 3D digital puzzles explored further than I've seen before: animated animals wandering across pieces, lighting changes, areas coming to life as you finish them, and little audio soundscapes connected to what's on each piece. They make good use of the technology and I'm sure there's even more cleverness and experimentation in the additional puzzle packs. I see some people complaining about the limited puzzle selection, but considering the price, how long it's taken me to finish just a few of the puzzles available, and the cost of a single physical jigsaw, I think you'll get your money's worth here.
Excelente.
The game is quite relaxing, but can also be made into a challenge by choosing to divide the puzzle into more pieces. I planned to play the game multiplayer, but unfortunately that is not available on PC (only for 2D, VR does work). It was a bit vaguely described due to the tags. Luckily the devs were very nice and approachable, and they helped clear that up. The game is also quite fun singleplayer and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for something casual to play after a long busy day.
