Puzzle Monarch: Egypt

Перед вами унылая разновидность пазлов из серии Puzzle Monarch. Да и какие это, нафиг, пазлы? Вы просто меняете местами кусочки картины, чтобы собрать изображение на ней. Именно меняете одну на другую, даже не по принципу пятнашек. Скучное и унылое действие. Всё бы ничего, но 350 р. за это? Серьёзно? Если вас, по каким-то причинам, заинтересовал данный продукт, добавлю, что картины, которые вы будете собирать относятся к тематике Египта (гробницы, пирамиды и т.п.). Но не советую, есть гораздо лучшие пазлы, которые даже интересно собирать. Единственная причина, которая сподвигнула меня взять эту унылость по большой скидке, это достижения, которых здесь ровно одна штука. Знаете за что его дают? Просто за вход в игру. В общем, крайне не советую.

The achievements appear to be unlocked in your library without even installing the game, but you actually have to install and launch the game for them to count. Taking inspiration from this developers ridiculous copy + paste attitude, I've decided to review his games in the same way.

This game has its place among tons of other achievement spam games published by this developer (mainly the Trivia Vault series), with the difference that this one (and other ones) remained at 1 achievement only, while many others got 5000 achievements automatically unlocking by opening and closing the game. The 15 puzzles this game offers are extremely simple - in fact, they are all 3x3 squares and they'll get solved by swapping (not sliding) the 9 pieces in order to get a simple standard "ancient Egypt" image. Everything is quite confused since the graphics are extremely minimalistic, making it difficult to even notice the differences between the puzzle pieces and the rest of the user interface. Unluckily, every level has two compulsory ways to beat them - after you clear within 2 minutes the simple section, you'll get the exact same picture (all looking similar by the way to each other) divided into 49 pieces. Given the fact that the game offers standard, minimalistic pictures of a generic Egyptian civilization, the 49 pieces will often look all the same - for instance, yellow floors or white inscriptions - making it extremely hard to distinguish between the pieces themselves. So, the hard puzzles are impossible to solve, and they're annoying since they simply put together 49 pieces looking all the same. And the easy ones, are too easy - beaten within 1-2 minutes. This game offers nothing else - it doesn't even have soundtracks or effects. I have yet to review other games of this kind, but stay away from this one for sure.

Puzzle Monarch: Egypt - еще один из серии унылых пазлов (собираем картинку, да), от любителей создавать одинаковые клоны из Ripknot Systems. Так как игры практически ничем не отличаются, обзоры будут тоже частичной копипастой. Суть: есть картинка, разбитая на куски, и перетасованная. Надо её собрать. Пазл как есть, в общем. Минусы: вся игра один сплошной минус. Убогое исполнение, стремная графика и дизайн, никакущее музыкальное сопровождение, плохо все. Конкретно про эту часть: картинки с пирамидами. Одно достижение за запуск и выход из игры. Выход лучше. Ich habe dieses Spiel in einem Bündel auf Steam gekauft, da ich gesehen habe, dass das Bündel Spiele enthält, welche viele Errungenschaften beinhalten. Da ich Errungenschaften sammle, habe ich es mir einfach gekauft. "Puzzle Monarch: Egypt" ist wie der Name schon sagt ein Puzzle-Spiel, bei dem man per "Click-Wechsel" die Puzzleteile verschieben kann. Die einzelnen Teile sind alle viereckig und vor allem bei der Schwierigkeit Schwer teilweise nicht mehr unterscheidbar, da es an manchen stellen einfach gleich aussieht. Da muss man mehr Glück haben als Verstand. Zudem ist dieses Spiel eine exakte Kopie von 5 weiteren Games dieser Reihe. Naja, zumindest haben die Entwickler die Bilder der Thematik angepasst. In diesem Falle "Egypt". Das Spiel hat eine einzige Errungenschaft, welche direkt nach dem starten des Spiels freigeschaltet wird. Das finde ich nicht mal schlecht, jedoch gibt es einen weiteren Grund, warum ich einen ziemlichen Hass inzwischen auf die Entwickler habe. Wie ich nämlich eben herausgefunden habe, kopieren sie nicht nur einfach ihre Spiele, sondern haben ihre Preise vor ein paar Monaten um gefühlt 1000 % erhöht, um scheinbar den 90% Rabatt besser dazustellen. Der Witz an der Sache ist, man bezahlt durch den 90% Rabatt den Betrag den das Spiel normal damals gekostet hatte. Ich persönlich finde es absolut erschreckend wie dreist manche Menschen sind, wenn es ums Geld geht. Ich will mit dieser Rezension einfach die Leute warnen, dass diese nicht auf die Entwickler reinfallen. Good game to get when on special if you're looking for an easy 100% game completion ;-) (Perfect Game)

This game wants to be a decent game, but isn't. I can sum this up quickly: it's a basic puzzle game featuring 100% square pieces that you place by swapping their positions (at least it isn't another @#$!ing sliding puzzle). It has 15 levels, and you must solve each puzzle twice for each level: once on very easy (9 pieces) and once on challenging (49 pieces). But the game falls apart once you get to the challenging levels. Here's the problem: at 49 pieces, many puzzles will have several pieces (remember, everything is a perfect square) that ALL LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME. I mean to say that these will have some sort of horizontal pattern or the like that is repeated 100% across several tiles. This means that you literally cannot tell which one goes where. You have to just randomly swap them around and hope that you land on the correct combination. God help you if you have two areas like this in the same puzzle (level 13 has this), as you may be trying various combinations for 20 minutes on a puzzle that you solved ages ago to get the game to trigger it as being "correct" and allow you to move on to the next level. The hint doesn't do you any good since there's no pattern change...oh, and the tiles in "play" mode are just a pixel or two off from "hint" mode, which makes it look like the whole thing moves just a little bit. So yes, the hint button is useless for helping solve this issue. I made better puzzle games than this in the 1980s. Seriously, this just breaks all the rules of creating a remotely passable visual puzzle. There is a single achievement, which pops if you do so much as open the game and exit it. The only reason you should have this game in your library is if you win it for free, and then you should just install it, open it, close it, take another 100% completion, uninstall it and hide it in your library. It's junk.
