Puzzle Bots

My daughter loves this game and keeps asking to reinstall the game so she can experience the joys of solving the puzzles. Most puzzles are challenging and fun enough for kids aged around 7+ years old. Recommended!

I bought this game through humble bundle a while back and never gave it a try. I was categorizing my games on Steam when I ran across it again. I almost dismissed it again, but I thought I'd play it for five minutes so I knew where to put it. Well, I ended up beating the game over a course of two days, and I've got to say, it was a lot of fun! Here's a couple points I enjoyed: * There was a dual narrative happening the entire game and the cutscenes felt like rewards for figuring out the puzzle. * The art and music initially didn't appeal to me, but as I played I grew to love it. * The characters were consistant and interesting to me. * The game didn't take itself too seriously, and there were laughs throughout the game. * It was very reminiscent of DOS point and click games way back when, I could easily see this having been a DOS game. Really, the only small point I felt needed improving was the mouths syncing up with the character's speech, and I did hear a small crackle twice when a character was being loud. These are barely noticable during gameplay though. Also, switching between bots using the 1 through 5 keys on the keyboard would be a great change. All in all, I didn't expect to like Puzzle Bots, but I really enjoyed it! I would pay $5 for this game knowing what I know now. It's a short, punchy, self-contained story with interesting characters and good humor, and I'll be keeping my eye out for other games from these devs.

YEAHHHH robots

Very cute puzzle game with some in-world challenges mixed in with the minigame, but none of the "I can't get the physics of this jump quite right, so I will never finish this level" bull that turns me off.

Le jeu est intéressant à faire avec un enfant à partir de 5 ans. Malheureusement le dernier stage est vraiment raté à cause d'erreurs de game design à mon avis (le soldat de plomb est considéré "dans l'eau" même s'il est hors de l'eau mais couché, et c'est le robot aquatique qui le redresse uniquement à la limite de l'eau, c'est vraiment dommage, penser à viser le soldat avec la bombe n'est pas du tout évident d'autant que le fait de devoir sans cesse baisser le niveau de l'eau rend le niveau désagréable. Une traduction française serait VRAIMENT bienvenue.

This game kinda remind me of some the old flash games, and in this case it's a good thing. I mean, I really love how simple and yet fun this game is, I like the art and the humour. Sure, it might be more like a game for kids, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun playing it.

Except simplified, with a derpy humor best suited for kids. This is made in Adventure Game Studio by Wadjet Eye. So it is not in fact a talkie version of an old Dos game. As such the voice acting is mostly well recorded and delivered. The puzzle design boils down to using the correct action protagonist on the right hotspot but you can usually tell fairly easily which is meant for which at a glance and solutions work themselves out. So as an introduction to point&click games, for youth, or as a relaxed mindless sort of adventure it is harmless and halfway decent entertainment. The robots are cute, and their little habitat is kind of awesome, the idea of the easter egg extra furniture was genious.

Very great game, i once played this when i was 3 years old, and now i buy it on steam and played it again Love the puzzle and the plot twist lmao
