after playing the demo and spending roughly a full on hour in it [you should play the demo too! At time of writing the demo is still available and i hope will stay available for it is the main reason why I bought the game!] I had to buy this game and buy their album Eat Skate Die which can be found on their bandcamp https://lemonboyband.bandcamp.com/album/eat-skate-die - the album is heavily featured in this game albiet without the lyrics [as far as i know i'm not that far into the game yet but so far no lyrics :c]. This game is absolutely fantastic! This game reminds me of the newgrounds / flash games of old when a game was overflowing with passion and love from its developers that it pours directly into your soul. If you have *any* interest in band / grunge life, love rhythm /choose your own adventure games, hell if you liked guitar hero you'll like this game for their rhythm game reminds me a lot of guitar hero which makes childhood me very happy! My biggest gripe is I had to start over [minus the customization I had already did] from the demo as the save didn't fully swap over? I don't know the customization saved but the story progress didn't? It was mildly annoying and a bit inconvenient but it's not a big deal :] I can't wait to finish this game and follow this band's adventures in reality. Thank you Lemon Party for not only making a rad game reminding me of better years, but for making amazing songs that'll be stuck in my head. I look forward to what you do next ♥!!

Super fun game especially if you love Lemon boy, but even without knowing the dev's other works, punk juice is a super charming and down to earth story with some roleplaying elements and tons of minigames and mechanics. the game isn't very long but it doesn't feel rushed.

Cute game, has a lot of audio problems and the music is generic as hell but its a fun time. (taking away vocals from songs that had them before didn't help)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A PUNK GEM WITH A BIG HEART! Punk Juice is everything I didn't know I needed. From the very beginning, it hooks you with its super-adorable queer aesthetic, in which gender is blurred in an authentic and natural way. The style is very consistent throughout and feels fresh and fun. You realize right from the start, with the character customization, that it's amazing. The characters and conversations are very funny, Ricki and Max are great, and the interactions with all the characters sometimes feel super real. The dialogues are full of mischievous, youthful humor that makes you smile. Plus, the characters' expressions are PURE GOLD, I can't stress this point enough. Now, not everything is perfect. A major negative point for the Spanish-speaking community is that the game is only in English. And it's not easy English to translate; it's full of abbreviations, slang, and youthful language that makes following the story a real challenge if you don't have a very high command of the language. Hopefully, the developers will decide to localize it. As for gameplay, the daily tasks sometimes feel a bit rigid. You're given a schedule and have to stick to it, which takes away some of the freedom you'd expect from a punk-themed game. In summary: If you're comfortable with English and looking for a fun and different experience, go for it! It's sure to become one of your favorite indies of the year.
