Punk Juice

Already loved LEMON BOY's music so this was a no-brainer. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of silly minigames all over the place, and the painful accuracy of the humor. Hope i get to see y'all play live eventually :)

Super fun game especially if you love Lemon boy, but even without knowing the dev's other works, punk juice is a super charming and down to earth story with some roleplaying elements and tons of minigames and mechanics. the game isn't very long but it doesn't feel rushed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A PUNK GEM WITH A BIG HEART! Punk Juice is everything I didn't know I needed. From the very beginning, it hooks you with its super-adorable queer aesthetic, in which gender is blurred in an authentic and natural way. The style is very consistent throughout and feels fresh and fun. You realize right from the start, with the character customization, that it's amazing. The characters and conversations are very funny, Ricki and Max are great, and the interactions with all the characters sometimes feel super real. The dialogues are full of mischievous, youthful humor that makes you smile. Plus, the characters' expressions are PURE GOLD, I can't stress this point enough. Now, not everything is perfect. A major negative point for the Spanish-speaking community is that the game is only in English. And it's not easy English to translate; it's full of abbreviations, slang, and youthful language that makes following the story a real challenge if you don't have a very high command of the language. Hopefully, the developers will decide to localize it. As for gameplay, the daily tasks sometimes feel a bit rigid. You're given a schedule and have to stick to it, which takes away some of the freedom you'd expect from a punk-themed game. In summary: If you're comfortable with English and looking for a fun and different experience, go for it! It's sure to become one of your favorite indies of the year.
