Punch! ViaCAD 2D/3D v9 + 3D Printing PowerPack LT

It's neat CAD software, but it's odd that they haven't put v10 on Steam yet. Or that you can buy v10 from the site for the same price as v9 on Steam.

Ну вот и набрано уже 5 часов. Опишу свои первые впечатления. При запуске сразу мысль: И за ЭТО я заплатил 1000 рублей? Да оно стоит максимум 200! Однако внешний вид говорит скорее о продуманности интерфейса, чем об ущербности. На видное место вынесено только самое нужное, что постоянно должно быть под рукой. Особенно шикарен туториал по созданию 3D-бокала за 60 секунд. И результат крут, и показывает основы работы, и очень быстро. Порядка часа потратил на знакомство с интерфейсом, пролистывание мануалов. Следующий час потрачен на рисование крышки для флэшки. Далее идёт распечатка на 3D-принтере, после которой узнаю, что снял размеры неправильно :-) Второй раз эту же крышку рисовал уже другими средствами, затратил минут 15. Самый любимый инструмент - скругление граней. С его помощью можно буквально в несколько кликов превратить уродливый прямоугольный брусок в современный "слизанный" корпус. Из отрицательных моментов могу выделить то, что программа иногда начинает самопроизвольно подтормаживать (на SSD диске!!!). И 3 раза зависла напрочь. Кроме того, количество инструментов даже близко не приближается к тому же SolidWorks. Но и не следует ожидать в CAD-системе за 100$ того же функционала, что и в CAD-системе за 4000$. Для быстрого прототипирования под распечатку на дешёвых 3D-принтерах к покупке рекомендую.

My old CAD program went to the $$,$$$$ per month subscription model. I am just an hobbyist with out a million dollar budget. I used the same software for a little over 10 years and was looking for something soft and easy on the wallet, but could do what I need to do. I rolled the dice on this program and struck gold. The buy it once price is way cheaper than monthly cost for Sketch-up, or AutoCad, or Tinker, or Fusion or Inventor. It also so much easier that freeCAD, or Eagle CAD. I opened the software, and it asked if I wanted to try the goblet tutorial, in which you could 3D model the goblet in it advertising video. I clicked "Yes". I was able to reconstruct the goblet in less than five minutes with that tutorial. In less than 45 minutes of ownership I had caught up everything on my list of stuff to do. Like months worth of stuff I had been procrastinating on. It opened up Sketch-up, it opened up my DWG, it opened up the STL and the collada. I could import my stuff from blender. In less than an hour, this program did so much, so fast, and without all the processor drain. I am super impressed.

For who have FDM 3D printer and wont to buy a Parametric CAD Program. Meybe this is the best way to buy Viacad. Buy form Steam is cheapets way its around 40-45 usd for V9. But on PuchCAD website the V10 is 130+99 usd. And buy from Steam u can install on multi computer Mac and PC but run only one computer in a time. From PunchCAD u can install in onlyone computer and have to choose MAC or PC can not switch. Yeah its V9 but with this price its very resonable to get one.

According to my experence, this software can open *dwg files. But it always stuck or stop running when you zoom-in or zoom-out. Acotz 7 小时以前 big problem here with opening dwg file When I import dwg file into viacad, it takes a long time. After importing, it's almost impossible to view/edit the files. It takes 10 seconds to zoomin and then another 10 seconds to zoomout. This makes this software almost unusable. My pc: i7 4720hq + gtx970m + 16g ram+ win10(64 bit) As comparison, I used TeighaViewer 4.02.2 and it works smoothly when openning those dwg files. ViaCAD brings everything from the original file into the program at time of import. This can make things slower as all these things are calculated in the background as you move around. Check for and remove any groups. Select the entire drawing and remove any links. Go into layer controls and remove any layers you dont need. Delete any objects you dont need. All these can help simplify the drawings[/h1][/spoiler][/quote]

Lots of bugs. Then crashed. All my work lost.

Perfect, easy to use CAD software. Pricy but compare to whats out there, its affortable. I use it With my 3D printer that I use to print my own custom pc parts for MODDING!!!!! yeaaa!!!

Extremely powerful and extremely cheap I used many other cad software in my workshop but this Viacad product is wonderful for 2D and mechanical design I bought Viacad pro version in the same time, it is more advanced

this software is not fit for purpose. it keeps crashing and corrupting my drawings.

Sokáig a kívánságlistámon volt sok egyéb mellett, és mivel igen hosszú idő óta nem láttam, hogy leakcióznák megvettem. Rá néhány napra természetesen akciós, talán ez -33%-kal olcsóbban megéri az árát, de hát késő bánat. Nagyon sokáig úgy voltam vele, hogy amit ezer évvel ezelőtt kaptam a cnc programozó suliban cadkey workshop v21.5 már elavult kicsit, korlátai vannak, meg ugyebár nem lenne rossz egy 3d nyomtatásra kihegyezett cadprogramot beszerezni, lehetőleg olcsón mert egy solid edge árát azért nem mérik túl olcsón, itt egy remek alternatíva. Nos nem az. Meg-bár jelentősége nincs túl sok-, a cadkeyben van magyar nyelv is. Ez a cadprogram viszont, kb egy dekával nem tud többet mint a cadkey, látványosabb ugyan a kezelőfelület, de tudásában sajnos sok ponton alulmarad. A viacad pro lenne az, ami ezt az árat megérné, de ugye az már 250 euro, kicsit azért sok érte. Upgradelni gondoltam, hátha kedvezményesebb, de sajnos a steamen vásárolt példányhoz rejtélyes módon nem jár termékkulcs, így az upgrade lehetősége kizárt, még azt se nagyon tudom megnézni, mennyibe kerülne ha adott lenne rá a lehetőség. Vicces. No meg kellemetlen. No de sebaj, ha minden kötél szakad, marad az ezer éves progi, ennek meg majd a 3d nyomtató modulját jól kihasználom. Azaz használnám, ha a hozzá kapott power pack lt jó lenne valamire, de a gyári nyomtatószoftverrel lényegesen többre megyek. További érdekessége ami említésre méltó, hogy már egy 2d görbe vonalprofil megrajzolása is érthetetlen hibaüzenetek garmadáját idézi elő, de csodálatos módon a pro változatban erre van egy javítómodul...az megint csak egy csodálatos dolog, hogy ha használható súgót szeretne hozzá az ember, az megint csak 23 euroba fáj, ha már a sajátja nem sokat ér. Kicsit úgy érzem, hogy ez mindössze a pro változat demója -99euroért. Lehet használni ugyan, de sokkal többre számítana az ember, alapdolgok hiányoznak belőle, irreális hibákat generál(talán nem is véletlenül), nem is nagyon tudom ajánlani, maximum ha nagyon le van akciózva, akkor is csak olyanoknak akiknek az első tervezőprogramja lenne.
