About
Punch 1000 Dudes is brutal 2D action stripped down to its core.
One level.
Two moves.
1000 enemies.
This hand-drawn side-scroller offers no upgrades, no checkpoints, and no mercy — only attack and parry, perfectly timed or brutally punished. Enemies spawn relentlessly, the screen fills with chaos, and a single mistake can end your run.
Designed as a pure test of reflexes, rhythm, and focus, Punch 1000 Dudes challenges you to survive an endless onslaught with nothing but skill and timing.
Defeat all 1000 enemies without dying once, and you win.
No fluff.
No safety nets.
Just raw, uncompromising action.
Do you have what it takes to punch 1000 Dudes?

I played like 8 mins. Fun game. Very minimal. I kinda don't know if this should be $5. It isn't a lot but this feels like the sort of game that could be Free to $4. There's another game that's practically identical to this one on Steam called Roller Riot. You attack enemies in front of and behind you and if you wiff attacks you're punished on your recovery. In this game you get a parry and that can also be wiffed and and punished but if you parry attacks properly, you can cancel enemy attacks and punish them. Roller Riot has a different art style and lacks a parry but is also free. Thus my should this be $5? Maybe with more story or personality might help things feel a bit more worth it but I do like what's here. The art style, sound effects and game feel are all there but the game only can increase difficulty and enemy variety and I kinda think there could be more than that. If you can spare $5 USD w/o flinching, and like hitting things, have at it. But if you're a cheapskate, wishlist and see if a sale can show up down the road. Also controller support is here and for Xbox, PS4 and probably PS5 controllers but you need to customize the controls to enable it. My PS4 controller worked in the menus but not the game until I customized some stuff and it's only 4 buttons for everything. Not sure why that's the case but here we are.
