About

PULMO is a casual puzzle game where you control a lone character in a world full of faceless crowds.

PULMO is the ideological continuation of ALVEOLE and the second part in a trilogy about the human journey. Our project explores human behavior in a society where everyone will find their own meanings. Your goal is to change the environment around you to influence people's behavior by solving spatial puzzles. The crowd in the game acts according to its own rules, sometimes helping, sometimes interfering, but always reacting to your actions.

Take control of the fate of a lone wanderer, challenging the silent crowds in a series of mysterious trials. There is no rush here, no victory or defeat - just a quiet dialog between you and the game. Follow this short but meaningful journey, absorbing every moment like the last ray of sunset.
FEATURES:
Unique art style combining 3D graphics and minimalistic hand-drawn style.
High-quality music and audio accompaniment for full immersion in what is happening.
Unsimilar puzzles with different complexity.
Cutscenes and levels with deep narrative.
Each cutscene has been worked out to the last detail.
«No matter how large the crowd around you may be, you will be left alone in the last moment. No matter how rich you may be, you will be a beggar in the end. No matter how dazzling your luck may seem, its wings will turn to dust. No matter how much joy you sow on your way, the harvest will be bitter.»

This is a cool little experience with an interesting execution and some thoughts it is trying to stir up in you. For only a handful of dollars it's worth seeing. Fair warning though, my eyes are generally pretty robust but this art style combined with some of the movements on screen came REAL close to cracking me. Be careful with that next time devs <3
Good Game
An amazing game from the develper where you get to solve puzzles. Easy to complete and definitely Recommended!!!

I think it was an alright game for the price I got it, I wanna say it was on sale or something so I got it for like half a dollar? but it's a bit derivative and the gameplay ranges from simple, to simple but annoying It's kinda one of those more "artsy" type games where the gameplay isn't very interesting or spectacular, I think because it's supposed to take a backseat to the music and visuals, though I didn't find much of that super interesting either... The one vocal track is memorable at least, though. PULMO calls itself a puzzle game but most of the "puzzles" just revolve around walking the correct direction or walking at an object. They don't really require any thinking or logic so it's hard to really consider them puzzles outside of the final two levels. There's also a limited FPS for stylization, which I'm not inherently opposed to; limited FPS in the right places can look pretty good, but I don't like the way it's handled here. Most examples where it works REALLY well mainly limit the FPS of animations specifically, like in Pseudoregalia where the character animations have limited frames but physical and camera movement don't. Meanwhile, in this case where EVERYTHING gets limited by it, it just ends up making the game feel laggy or low performance which I don't think is the intended effect. Thankfully you can disable it, which I did after it started to become kind of annoying. the game's visual style in general feels derivative, though... I've never played KIDS from Playables but I remember seeing stuff about it, so I think I kind of got tricked into buying this because I thought this was that. Oops. No idea if that game was an inspiration or something, but I think the style could probably be more original Also not sure what's up with the controller support. I use a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller connected by USB, in case it's just that specific controllers aren't correctly supported... I noticed that when I tried to use it, menu selection was very difficult or impossible, and oftentimes when I was trying to move my character downwards, it would just start randomly moving me upwards instead. I've never seen that before. No idea why that would possibly happen as the controller works fine with the few other games I've tried it on, so it's clearly not a drift issue or something of the sort. I dont REGRET buying it cause it was very cheap, and clearly i have things to Say about it even if they're not necessarily positive. But unless you're looking for a bunch of super cheap stuff, this game isn't anything too special to write home about
High contrast colours + jerky movement + screen flash = migraine fuel.
