当時ゲーセンでかなり遊びました。敵に接近してレベルを上げるというシステムが面白く、リスクと背中合わせのバランスが面白かったです。
This STG adds a unique twist to the bullet hell / danmaku formula. Excellent control and good graphics.

Simple but supercrisp visuals. Sublime soundtrack. Addictive bullet-grinding that feels very rewarding even after hours of playing.
I'm not a devotee of the series or the genre, so this was a sale pickup. I am a big supporter of older games being on Steam and this seems to be a good presentation; three ways to play, with their own music, and you can flip and turn the screen around too. The grazing past enemy fire thing is fun and there are times when it's just mental and you need a bomb or you are going to take damage. In the way of these things, the runs are short, you can get through to the end credits in a few minutes. But it's about path taken, options used and how well you did. If these aren't your thing or you're not used to older games, then this might be tough to get your head around, just in terms of how it works, what information there is on the screen and how you're going to play it. The controls however, are mercifully simple, so it really is just down to those factors and your decision to graze, evade or nuke the threats and how much of the shoulder button/trigger you can get away with before you need to let it go to move. For non-devotees, four plus years on, this is a good sale pickup, but I'd say full price might feel like a poor investment. If you're that keen that the full price makes sense, you likely already have it, and/or don't need my review :)
Decently fun shmup, not a whole lot to it. No story of any kind. Buy at discount
this game is awesome! I was buzzing in a minute... so, I paid for this
I saw some reviews bashing that they changed the game to include a roll button. This turned me off for a bit despite never playing any Psyvariar. On sale I finally decided what the heck, and boy am I glad I didn't listen to those reviews. That said I can understand if you're an OG player and built up that skill that would be frustrating. But IMO, it would be a PITA to play like that. Review: Gameplay 9/10 - Almost perfect, it is a simple concept done well. Graphics 10/10 - I love em and the bullet patterns are beautiful and mesmerizing. Performace:10/10 for me. Could be slowdown on older specs, untested. Music 6/10 - Meh, not bad but serviceable just fine.
