This was a completely spontaneous purchase, driven by the low price of one euro and the hope that they probably didn't mess this miniscule 60's psychdelia exhibition up, because why else would you release this and charge money for it, right? The concept and visuals looked inviting enough. Turns out I was completely wrong, as nearly nothing here works as it should: - The game controls with WASD, only that the "D" key doesn't register for some reason - If you look straight up in the sky, the camera can't control itself - The outside garden seems like an area to roam free, instead there are invisible walls everywhere - The audio cuts abruptly, which is a constant issue in a simulation that constantly surrounds you with different music sources - All of the texts are incredibly superficial, simultaneously failing to explain even the most basic terms while also never going in-depth about any of the well-established classics of the era; not even fun trivia or lesser-known-details are included - At each painting, you have to manually trigger both the music and the page of surface-level information With more space, polish, effort and finetuning this could be a worthwile ~20 minute gallery but in its current form, "Psyche60s" fails as a interactive experience, doesn't work as an educational tool and certainly doesn't offer a trippy, psychdelic or worthwile journey - reading about acid and Rock'n Roll in such a dry, uninvolved and stale manner really doesn't do the subject any justice. 2.5/10
