"Psych" is a weird, short, unengaging and pointless third person shooter/puzzle game where you control a little worm thing that escaped from some slugs in a futuristic lab and you have to get out. Getting out was one of the first things I thought about when I saw how bad the graphics are. What do you do in the game? Not much, you have a special psionic ability that you only use twice, there's only two short levels. There's nothing here. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 15 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. The graphics aren't great, really badly done assets, low poly, they look bad... at least we know it's not an asset flip, the assets look too bad to be published by anyone. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's well over 130 million gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Given that this free title won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? Pass on this one. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.

Simple and fun game
Game takes almost 5 GB with less than 15 min content. Trashy animations (lack of them actually). More details at this useful review: https://steamcommunity.com/id/danielcrowbringsdarkness/recommended/1409370/
Before I played Psych, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
I really liked the music and design of the alien and a pretty cool concept, although I'd love to see more story elements. Some things that could be improved upon; Lighting (Very hard to see where you're going and where you're supposed to go) The Length (With only 2 levels, I finished it in under 15 minutes) Voice Lines (Maybe have some more sounds, as throughout the entire thing, the main thing you're hearing is 'Containment.....Breach......Detected' over and over again. )
the dogs were bad and the sound effects were worse, the boss has two phases, sit there and do nothing and move side to side and shoot. the file size for the game is far too much for what it was.
