About
Pronoun Palace is a word-spelling roguelike set in a dystopian future where the government has taken your pronouns. Use spells to manipulate letter tiles, catch fish, and abuse amphetamines to defeat the Party and get your pronouns back!
Strategize your spelling; use wooden tiles to attack and plastic tiles to defend. Activate spells to manipulate tiles to your favor—shift letters across the alphabet, turn tiles into candy, and watch words spell themselves with wildcards.
Retransition as different characters in the face of an oppressive bureaucratic collectivist state. Take advantage of their unique abilities to hole punch tiles and submit multiple words at once, weave through fish to catch specific letters, or juggle ticking bombs against a racing clock!
Battle a wide variety of enemies that each change the game. Manage tiles afflicted with effects such as poison, trigrams, and capital letters. Solve mystery letters through deduction, keep yaoi and yuri tiles from touching, or spell words long enough to make an enemy heel!
5 playable characters
50+ unique enemy encounters
75+ different spells
70+ unlockable achievements

very funny and i like the tile variations. very woke 10/10
why is the gameplay actually good i bought it because the price was 19.84
This is genuinely my new comfort game! Seeing something so unapologetically weird and queer is genuinely so refreshing and lovely... A lot of the writing and themes brought up really spoke to me on a personal level... There were a lot of things that made me laugh too! Not only that, but the gameplay is really nice! It's quite fun to not only learn new words, but also slang as well! All the different tile types and variations mixes things up in a way i appreciate a lot. And gosh, the soundtrack... I already love RENREN's music, and this is so good, I freakin' love it! So dang catchy! The sound design is also really nice on my ears, too! The enemy sounds, the character sounds... The Addict's death sound is my favorite, it lessens the blow of losing because I always end up giggling at the silly scream. Also Ciirulean your vibes are immaculate and, I'll 100% be following whatever art and projects you make next! eeeeee! :3 There's so much more praise I could say, but I don't wanna make this review too long, lol. Thank y'all so much for making this game!!!
Truly the wordiest game of word games! Can't recommend this game enough :)
Might be one of the best roguelikes I have ever played. Distinct from the rest but with extremely tight mechanics. Easily a 10/10.
It’s good but the existence of Red Tape as a strong run-defining item annoys me
this game is truly incredible. First off, I love wordgames, and have been looking for a boggle-like for a while. While not following the rules of boggle exactly, this is close enough - and the amount of variables that you can add to your letters/words/etc makes this a lot of fun and really replayable. Now, a good word game is all well and fine - but this one has an awesome story, great art, incredible music, and a really, really good sense of humour. The game truly feels like it's written by people that understand humour and post-irony. It feels very self aware in a way that games like Borderlands wish they could be. I really like this one. I'm stoked to keep playing it, and would love to see what the devs get up to next.
this is such an amusing and satisfying game lol. i do wish there was a setting to speed things up though (unless there is and i am simply blind), but even then it's still great, good mix of personality and mechanics also where's the funny when playing "sex" vs. the anti-sex worker????
fun and clever gameplay and abrasive cutting sense of humor
Woke boggle where you can say slurs I give it a she/10
