A fight is like a conversation: Sometimes you listen, and sometimes you speak. And if you are prepared, when it is your turn to speak, you will know what to say.

10 minutes in, I already have a headache... If you can't tell what this game is from the screenshots, I won't fault you. It's basically an abstract tps melee hack and slash with really finnicky camera controls. There is no sense of space and judging the distance and effect of your attacks is basically impossible due to the minimal visuals.
Not sure what to make of this game. It's clearly a labor of love and well put together, and I suspect you're supposed to play this game mostly to enjoy the spectacle without fearing failure (aside from a low high score). On the other neon-colored wireframe hand, the moment-to-moment gameplay isn't quite there for me. Enemies are spongey, and all you really do is mash buttons, while training your nervous system to quickly react to sound cues in order to avoid taking damage. There is some fun to be had learning enemy patterns, and having to be on your toes amid swarms of different types of enemies, but ultimately there just isn't any depth to the combat -- there's no thinking about your positioning, planning ahead, or enemies that complement each other. The enemies are just tossed at you, and ya mash them potatoes until they go away. The pre- and post-stage transitions also drag things down too. They're long and drawn out, and there's nothing to do but wait for extended periods of times as you wait for said transitions; and/or you'll find yourself on the opposite side of the map of where the entrance/exit building is, having to slowly plod towards it. It makes completing levels feel like punishment, enough to destroy my desire to play it impulsively - not a good McLook for this McWeird-ass arcade game. Perhaps I will consider this game in the future, when I'm in the mood or just play at a time where I'm ready for it to click. So I painfully give this a thumbs-down, which I hate doing for developers that clearly put effort and passion in their games!

it feels like a mix of devil may cry and something else I can't put my finger on. Awesome game, feels awesome when I do good enough to have focus. Fighting in the same level fighting till I get bodied by the hoard.
Makes for an interesting fever dream.
