Project Skylab

I was sent on a quest, one that was way too difficult for even the brightest of advisory could endure. I have failed, not only the lives of my comrades but also the people of earth. Though not from a lack of trying, this adventure was filled to the brim with wisdom to share. Could have I survived if I was not so feeble minded. My frail bones could not handle the toll that this colonization requires. The AI wins this round, a huge lose for mankind, but tomorrow is another...

I can see you really tried, you had some interesting ideas but I'm not sure they're right for this game. I don't think having players make a graph out of an equation is expected gameplay in an FPS. The enemies don't make sound so it's impossible to tell if you're being spotted, chased, or hit. I would consider QA testing next time you release a game.

"Project Skylab" is an extremely badly done Unreal asset flip. Not to be confused with Skylab, NASA's first manned space station from the 1970's, this is instead a very poor Unreal shooter asset flip where the developer tacked some educational "algebra" questions onto the other assets. Needless to say this is not making education better, it's just making gaming worse. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 13 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

They expect you to do quick maths, but you walk at the pace of an arthritic snail. Game also has no pause menu that I could find, so I had to close out the old fashion way of alt-f4. It's too bad I failed math class, I would have like to walk around the base as a sloth for longer.

I like to speedrun trash - it's what I do. Now this game, this is a whole another level of trash. Who tf thought "ah yeah lets put in math equations but also kill the player while they're trying to solve it" - the game just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kills you when it feels like it. This isn't remotely playable for a regular person, let alone a speedrunner.
