What if Iron Lung was more lonely. This game knows what it wants to be and it does it without wasting your time. Totally worth it

Solid game for the price. It actually spooked me which I enjoy considering high budget scary games haven't typically scared me. It's very apparent how much love was put into this game. Also the secrets and easter eggs are a major plus. 11/10 recommend!

A $1 game selling for $5. This, by cost per gaming hour, was far more expensive to me than Diablo 4. --- It's not bad, meaning that there is a game experience here, and there are a couple points where it gave me a startle. There were a couple graphical touches I thought were excellent. No crashes, which is more than I can say for many games by larger studios. --- Upon reflection, Project Proxima fits into the category of 'Tech Demos/Free Games' for me-- it seems like a portfolio piece for a small studio: 'Yes, we can design a small game. Here one is.' Considering how slavishly it copies Iron Lung's presentation and material, it seems like a perfect ad for a porting or total conversion-type job. I hope the developers get that job, and you set your expectations very modestly. I wish that Steam presented a metric on 'typical hours to complete', that would have helped me evaluate this game pre-purchase. The bummer is that I'm going to be just a little more careful on my next $5 game purchase.

Очень короткая, но атмосферная игра, сделанная по тому же принципу, что и Iron Lung. Вы также перемещаете себя в условном пространстве по координатам, а вам, в ответ, показывают картинки. Сделана с минимумом затраченного времени и ресурсов, но сделано с душой. Багов разработчик тоже навалил от души. За 20 минут игры я её успел пройти 1 раз и 3 раза перезапустить. Дважды застрял в интерфейсе терминала и не смог из него выйти. Получил плохую концовку, но ачивка не сработала по какой-то причине.

for five dollars can't really complain, it does what it sets out to do and doesn't take very long doing it

very short but interesting adventure. Not scary but definetely interesting. Fly around, scan stuff, look for secrets. This game could use a bit more attention, it's very nice. Except camera controls. it's extremely weird, got used to it in a few minutes.

Quite frankly, I like it. Simple on the surface but it does have some nice extra secrets to keep you occupied for an hour or two

Gameplay(Bad Ending): https://youtu.be/-ySemo_q49I Project Proxima has the general idea you may remember from Iron Lung, if you played that. But instead of being on a moon with a sea of blood-like liquid, you're in space. Your job is to travel to planets in a System and then scan them, trying to find one that can sustain life. There are multiple endings, with many secrets to find as you search the system and things I'd rather not spoil for you. Graphically it reminds me of the possibly little-remembered Noctis. Sound design is good, with plenty of eerie things visiting your ears to keep you in suspense. The Atmosphere is also really well done, as there's this sense of dread as you explore. Your ship can be hit by asteroids and will need to be repaired, and other things will happen too. You can finish the game with your first playthrough in less than 30 minutes, but it'll take longer if you search for the secrets the first time. Worth a few playthroughs for sure.
