About

You are a new intern at a company with a very simple task. Craft rubber ducks and feed them to the pit.

At the center of the facility waits the Maw – a vast corporate hole with an appetite that only grows larger the more you feed it. Make ducks, throw them in, earn your place.

The company is watching. The pit is growing. Ducks will not be enough.
Unlock new tools, produce stranger objects, improve your workflow, and build increasingly chaotic physics-based systems to keep up with demand. With each phase, the Maw expands, the facility shifts, and your responsibilities become harder to explain.

Eventually, simple production turns into assembly. Objects begin to connect in unexpected ways. Your work stops feeling like a job. Where are you? Who’s your employer? Why are you doing all this?

the factory must exxpand
It's ok..... this game is pretty cool and fun until it stops being fun and you realize you hate it...... There's just 1000 small things that begin to add up into a bottomless pit of frustrating mechanics. The entire game is based around building a sort of makeshift factory out of random dollar store toys you won out of a cereal box to work you way up the to whatever was left in the bargain bin at Walmart. It's a good idea until you actually attempt to engage with the building or moving or doing anything and get stuck constantly or launched into space or fall down a hole or your items fly away for no reason or break. Simple things like, why does the item i'm trying to place have collision with myself and spawn inside of me often resulting in either me or the machine ending up far far west of where i had intended. I'm trying to carry a bucket full of ducks up a ramp but uh oh the ducks clip through the bucket defeating the purpose of both the buckets and the ramp, or if the ducks choose to obey and remain seated firmly with in my ducket (duck bucket) then the bucket will choose not disobey causing me to drop it and as a result all my ducks. Sometimes the game just crashes every time you try to close it, sometimes the super glue function i purchased from the item shop simply disables it's self for my save, even when reloading to a previous point before it was disabled it remains missing meaning i can no longer build structures needed to progress. Sometimes i buy an item and instead of falling down the beloved and well respected item tube it simply gets stuck floating in the middle causing anything else i purchase to also get stuck, then you think well maybe the button that sucks up all objects on the field will fix this surely.... no,,,, you're wrong. Fortunately the game IS GOOD overall there is just a lot of room for improvement (and bug fixing) but the idea has potential and the first few acts are enjoyable, just, not enough so for me to say i recommend playing it due to just how much of a drag it quickly becomes. Simply make it again but better and next time add more golfing. Hitting the cash register with a golf club was kind of a thrill.
this game itches your brain so well
