Inspired by the demoscene, each of Project Green Beat’s unique levels merge stunning visuals with high energy rhythms to create a truly unique music-based rail shooter. It is a fully immersive experience where the music inspires the visuals and drives the flow of motion.

https://youtu.be/7H5P59ZriZc Being an on rails rhythm based shooter that doesn't sync the music to targets is a huge miss. Levels feel discordant due to this resulting in a sour experience overall.

First off, the game crashed on launch on Windows 10 so make sure you run it as admin. Once you get it running, you get thrown into a "menu" of floating orbs that flow around with no tutorial or instruction. Then once you get into a "track" you just shoot the things that stand out from the backgrounds. Be it a cube that is just sitting there being a cube, to balls of light, to flying crystals, etc. that are all supposedly set to the music but feels more like a pretty random visualizer to go along with a decent soundtrack. The shooting isn't satisfying as the gun has a pretty slow bullet speed and the ranom bonuses with no explanation don't help things. Add to that one of the signature touted features (multiplayer) seems to be broken and you end up with a dead, poorly executed, yet pretty game. Save your money and get something from the Bit.Trip series if you want a good music game.
If you want to be better at FPS this is a training program for aiming. I have been playing global defense network relentlessly for years. Fantastic game, worth every penny, a really intense way to train.
Tags: Clicker - Fast Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Interesting conceptually but badly cobbled together execution kills this title Review: Project Green Beat tries to do something: Tell a narrative by the use of shooting lights onto obstacles, growing score multiplier while a cool female voice cheers you on and tripping out to electronic music and nice level progression through natural, new age, as well as abstract geometrical levels. You charge shots with a laser and blow them up using the pulse cannon making trick shots and chain reactions. What it actually does is: Give a nod to house music, electronic music and trance club scene, put on an asset flip grade pre-rendered background, spawn a bunch of rocks or little fireworks style dots of light and have you shoot at them with your own dots of light or your laser. You often cant effectively charge a target and blow it up because of time constraints, and even if you do sometimes they dont blow up. The mechanic is hit and miss, obscure, and you just end up spamming left and right mouse button and shooting at anything that moves. The narrative is unlocked as you click on the Believe street tag that is sometimes painted on a level but sometimes you just hit it by accident because its not visible, you are rewarded with one vague line, about some chick that goes all tsundere for music, at first kinda not consenting to it, but then feeling her heart beat and going with the flow... or something... The level design does not match the narrative thematicalily, and the shooting is all in all very unsatisfying to use. There seems to be a fair amount of levels but the level selection screen is just a bunch of fantasy style portals and you rotate through them randomly making it hard to assess, and I ended up replaying the same levels sometimes when I thought I was playing something new. Some levels last upwards of five minutes while others feel like they are over in two minutes. You will almost always be ranked D or C but that will not prevent you from ranking in the top 100 worldwide global leaderboard... All in all I appreciate what was attempted here but the experience just fails to hit the nail on the head and come together as a cohesive whole. Even as a clicker game it is rather annoying, feels cheap, and will definitely age badly, it looks like some bad tablet unity port Music was not bad all in all - Avoid this title
Its cool and all, but where is the tutorial? Like it doesn't even have any hints or anything. I see the video on the store page, the game looks awesome. I get it, and have no idea how to play it. Like, really? You have time to make it look all amazing and good, but no tutorial? Not everyone knows what you know, especially when you just make it. I wont give the game a bad review, but try to make a tutorial or something because, I want to play a game where i know what I'm doing.
.
This game has a very good music...i love the beats and the grafik.
