Może to nie jest pełny symulator jednak vibe serii Inital D zachowany i tego oczekiwałem.
Project Drift is an arcade racing game developed and published by Integer Games that pays tribute to Japan's legendary mountain drifting scene. Rather than trying to compete with expansive open-world racers or hardcore driving simulators, it concentrates on the fundamentals of downhill drifting, challenging players to master tight corners, maintain smooth slides, and defeat rivals through precision driving. The game embraces Japanese automotive culture with a stylized manga-inspired presentation, energetic Eurobeat soundtrack, and winding mountain roads that immediately establish the tone of a classic street racing adventure. The gameplay revolves around refining drifting techniques instead of simply crossing the finish line first. Players have access to six Japanese-inspired cars that can be driven across five mountain courses, each offering distinct layouts and corner sequences that demand different approaches. Success comes from controlling speed, balancing throttle inputs, and maintaining long, uninterrupted drifts while navigating narrow roads. The handling model incorporates suspension physics that give the vehicles a satisfying sense of weight without becoming overly technical, making the game approachable for newcomers while still rewarding players who invest time in mastering each course. Project Drift also includes several features that extend its replay value beyond the standard races. Players can customize the color of their vehicles, create their own race setups by selecting tracks and AI opponents, and revisit completed events through a replay system that captures dramatic drifting moments from cinematic camera angles. One particularly enjoyable addition is the ability to replace the default soundtrack with personal MP3 files, allowing players to create a custom racing atmosphere that matches their own musical preferences. These options demonstrate an effort to provide flexibility even within the game's relatively focused scope. Visually, the game favors style over realism. The manga-inspired art direction gives Project Drift its own identity, separating it from many contemporary racing games that pursue photorealistic graphics. The mountain environments successfully capture the atmosphere of famous downhill roads, while the vehicles reflect the classic Japanese sports cars that have become icons of drifting culture. Although the selection of tracks and cars is modest, the consistent visual presentation helps reinforce the game's nostalgic appeal and complements its arcade-oriented gameplay. The accessible design is another positive aspect of the experience. Full controller support allows for comfortable handling, and the game's modest system requirements make it playable on a wide range of PCs. Steam achievements provide additional goals for completionists who enjoy perfecting every event and unlocking every challenge. The straightforward progression also means players can quickly understand the mechanics and begin improving their skills without navigating overly complicated upgrade systems or lengthy tutorials. Despite its strengths, Project Drift does have limitations. The limited number of vehicles and tracks means players may eventually exhaust the available content after several hours of play. Customization remains mostly cosmetic, leaving little opportunity for detailed performance tuning or experimenting with different driving builds. Players seeking an expansive career mode, online multiplayer competition, or simulation-level realism may find the overall package lacking in long-term depth. While the core drifting mechanics remain enjoyable, additional content and greater gameplay variety would have significantly strengthened the experience. Even with these shortcomings, Project Drift succeeds at delivering an enjoyable arcade drifting experience centered on style, accessibility, and the excitement of mountain road racing. It captures the spirit of Japanese drift culture through its energetic presentation, responsive controls, and focused gameplay loop, making it a solid choice for players who appreciate technical cornering without the complexity of full-fledged racing simulations. Although it does not redefine the genre, it offers enough personality and satisfying mechanics to keep drifting fans entertained. Project Drift offers an entertaining blend of arcade drifting, anime-inspired presentation, and nostalgic street racing atmosphere. Its limited content prevents it from achieving greater longevity, but its enjoyable driving mechanics, memorable soundtrack, and focused design make it a worthwhile experience for fans looking for an accessible and stylish drifting game.

is GOOD
the idea is good handling is terrible there only 5 cars and maps...for my opinion not enough
