========================================================================= Project Aura causes ambiguous feelings. For the first 1-2 hours of the game, she tries to completely confuse you in the subtleties of setting up the production chain. Having understood the basics of management, she literally throws herself to the mercy of fate. On the one hand, it encourages the player to dig into the mechanics and study the game on their own. However, on the other hand - with a HUGE number of submenus and resources, the player is immediately lost in prioritizing development. And having more or less figured out what he needs at the moment, he rests on the main problem of the game - a very stretched gameplay. As it was said, Project Aura has a huge number of different resources involved, if not in one, then at least in two production chains. In which they are subsequently processed into other resources, as well as into one or more types. For example, to get the basic building material (plastic), it is necessary to carry out the first resource through 4 (!) procedures. At the same time, they are not fast. A lot of resources are needed for the development of the city. And of all kinds. The already mentioned plastic is divided into 3 types, and all three are made from a single base, which also needs to be carried out through 4 (!) stages. Accordingly, in order to get a unit of each type of plastic, the player needs to perform 12 (!) processes. And this is typical of all production processes. The first hours of the game are not so annoying, because it is possible to set production queues and put them on stream. However, this is exactly what stretches the process of resource extraction, especially if the player needs one specific resource right now. The solution is obvious - to monitor each process manually, or to increase production capacity with new factories. And here the player rests against a limited space. The very concept of survival and construction on small platforms looks interesting. The player must play a kind of tetris, accommodating structures not only of different sizes, but also shapes in strictly prescribed areas. But their limitations force the player to make do with a minimum number of buildings of each type, building additional duplicates only in cases of urgent need. Which leads back to a slow and stretched process of processing all resources through a single pipeline. Because of this, the game turns from an urban planning simulator into a simulator of a “production administrator”. I can recommend Project Aura to fans of micro-control and micro-management of resources who like to jump from factory to factory restarting and adjusting production chains to current needs. But fans of city-builder simulators have nothing to do here.
Games not great and has been abandoned not long after it was released don't invest in it.
Game was never finished so dont buy it
Lame.
Runs very poorly. Couldn't get through the tutorial missions. Sometimes it won't even load fully. Frustrating lag in graphics. I wanted to play this game, it looked really neat. My machine is not 'top of the line' but it can still run modern titles in Ultra with no problems. This title it has trouble with. Even at $3 it was not worth it.
