Disfrutadlo!!! Gaudiu-lo!!! ********************************************************************************************************* Game that has been granted to me by Keymailer, so I thank both the company and the developers for giving me the option to try it for free. ************************************************** ************************ Very good game, you must have a little patience to be able to detect all the anomalies that will occur almost unnoticed so that you make mistakes again and again. It has a configuration mode in textures, curiously it looks clearer and cleaner in low textures. It doesn't need to be translated because the little you can read you understand perfectly, and after a short time you adapt to the game. Despite having a 1050 and recommending a minimum of 1060, I have been able to play a lot (until I got a coding error), so they have managed it quite well so that at least computers with less graphics can enjoy it as well. It has Steam achievements, although I don't know how to get them yet. The setting is disturbing, in a taxidermy museum, there is nothing. The watchman seems to look like an adorable little old man, although he is also disturbing, the lighting and the decoration remind me a lot of Twin Peaks. Absence of music, there are only sounds that break the silence on certain occasions. You have to repeat the route many times to see all the anomalies, and it has a Tryhard mode in which there is also timed play. Enjoy it!!!
I loved the setting for this anomaly spotting game. The taxidermy museum is fascinating to explore before factoring in the creative, if sometimes hard to spot, anomalies. The curator following you around became something of a meme to me as I tried to push him, block him, and annoy him as much as possible. The hard mode for Taxidermy Trails is far better than for Project 13. The rising water makes each loop more tense than the last. Well worth playing over and over again to see all the anomalies. Pros - Setting (map design) is amazing - Creative and sometimes terrifying (and deadly) anomalies - The curator will either be your BFF or your nemesis - Hard mode adds a new layer of tension to the game Cons - Some anomalies are super sneaky Overall Rating: 8.5/10
Overall a good game, however i feel like the turning off the bobble head and mask noises don't work properly, i have tried to click and it didn't turn off. but if you like games like The exit 8 and Midnight Monitor: Aldercourt, I think you will enjoy this
-------------------------- The game is based on the "Exit 8" principle, except that you are in a hunting museum that you have to go through and report any anomalies that occur using a toggle switch. If you're right, the number increases by 1 in the next round. If you're wrong, because you either missed an anomaly or forgot to flip the switch, you end up at 0 and basically start all over again. Graphics are TOP, some anomalies can be fatal TOP, sound ok, could be better. If you like playing games like Exit 8, this game is definitely for you. You have to know!
Project 13 was such a great entry into the anomaly genre and I was so happy to see a follow-up with Taxidermy Trails. I loved this setting and the darker atmosphere made for some tricky anomalies to spot. The addition of the creepy NPC that follows you was a nice touch, they jumpscared me a couple of times when I didn't realised they'd backed right up behind me. I look forward to the next Project 13 entry!
When you don't know where anomalies are, everything seems abnormal, making it quite challenging. However, after playing for a while and seeing most of the anomalies, the difficulty starts to decrease. But it's still a good game; if you love this style, you'll definitely enjoy it. Additionally, there seems to be a programming error in detecting anomalies (anomaly display above the door, the " #/35" ). Even anomalies I've already seen are repeatedly counted as new anomalies, causing me to encounter new anomalies even when the door shows 35/35 anomalies. So, don't use that number as the standard for whether you've seen all the anomalies.
Amazing! I want to play all of this games! Scary and fun fun fun! Was waiting for something to jump me, will se if it will happen soon?!
