Progeny is a VR game that takes place during those few seconds between “You Died” and videogame resurrection. It presents players with a sci-fi world, seen only through their deceased character’s memories, and a choice: which of those memories do they take with them into the next life?
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

I "played" through about 10 generations and with a secret ending
cube under cubes
. I felt like there wasn't enough story or depth for this to be worth you time. If this was a html page instead of a VR construct, you'd go through it in 5 minutes. The UI here just slows you down, as there isn't enough visual stuff to warrant VR.
Progeny VR is free VR game that is unusual. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index and Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. It looks like you can do multiple endings and maybe bad choices. Might have a secret ending. You have to choose memories from 3 different stations, with only a simple description. Maybe takes several runs through to see everything. Try it, maybe you might like it.

Kind of boring, you just select stuff and then do that over and over again with barely any real point.

A unique and interesting experience. I am not sure if you can actually win but it's worth a few tries to see ;-)
This game allows players to determine how they’ll begin their next life and what memories they’ll take over from previous lives. It’s an interesting concept that’s executed well, and it made me consider the meaning of life and the issues with immortality. The secret endings are fascinating as well, and they aren’t too difficult to discover. This is a great game, and it’s definitely recommended. Go Tarheels! @House Undergraduate Library
