it's an interesting game, thats for sure. whats also interesting is that im in a multiplayer lobby with zero other players that i'm not apparently allowed to leave! anyways. i had a bit of time, so i dropped by here. matches last 8 minutes so i've got time. Hey, i finally got in a match, i presume with a bot. it's super obnoxious that regardless of visibility issues inherent to the games unarguably sense assaulting presentation, ai can spot me from across the map and hit me with pinpoint accuracy any any range. you advertise 'no hackers' in your premium blurb, but against perfectly accurate ai, who needs hackers! i can't learn guns when the only thing that matters is if i can out dps the ai. maybe i should have jobbed a bit during the obnoxious placement match, but i really think i should be rewarded, not punished for doing well there. I'll try again when more people have the game downloaded, but as is this feels like that light tag free to play game, but instead of facing players, i get to face cheating ai instead! I'm back, i got a developer response, a bad one. he claims there are players online, but from what i read in other reviews, you cant face other players right now! ain't that interesting. that means regardless of playercount, this competitive fps is players versus bots. further, he seems to think that the giant glowing mass is easily visible, but everything looks like a giant glowing mass, many lights are even the same color as the ai, the only way you know it's there is from the fact it shoots you perfectly accurately from inside the bloom. next point, the AI, it isn't hard to make a perfectly accurate AI thats better than a player, it isn't just about having an ai that beats players, it's about having an AI that challenges players, one that leads to a battle that feels inline with a player battle. being perfectly accurate is easy, the ai already knows where i am, you just have to draw a line from him to me, thats done easy with middle school geometry. it isn't a good job, it's a lazy job. you literally took the shortest route to difficulty, bee-line it to the player, aim perfectly, shoot. last thing, my placement match was me bullying your ai for a half. hour. The hud all the while told me i had 4 guns. i actually had every gun, i don't know why it lied there specifically, but it's a weird thing to lie about. gradually the AI started aiming better and shooting faster, it actually got a whole lot less fun while it did, imagine that. Anyways you should consider putting more effort into the AI if thats the entire game. I actually think it visually looks cool, it plays like garbage however. I had a positive rating before, as a good faith maybe it would be better later, but i dont think it will anymore. I hope the review rating drops to mostly negative.
