This game is perfect for all that love magical girls and management sims. It's fun, cute, and allows for experimentation in gameplay without harsh punishment (which is all i look for in a cozy game!). I love the art style, as it is anime-inspired, colorful, and fits in perfectly with the magical girl genre without feeling identical-looking to other anime style games. The tutorials are easy to understand - and the gameplay loop takes a second to pick up - which then becomes an addictive hour or two! 😚 What is also awesome is that I can easily see this game being updated with more upgrades, maps, outfits, and emotions in the future if the developer decides. Thank you BerryLemonade Studio for being an inspiration to all indie game dev girls! ❤️️
Very cute little game, VERY much worth the price I paid - I'd even argue its worth $3-4 more dollars than I paid for it. I beat this game within 2 hours, but I think I have a problem with "being productive" with games (I just really like achievements), and there was no reason that I couldn't just take my time playing this game. It had great magical girl vibes, I LOVED the outfits, the total overall aesthetic of the game was very cute, very girly pop, very "Sailor Moon-esque" but still feeling like its own entity. It did take me a few minutes to understand how to work the cure element of the game, but it really isn't that difficult to understand - it just takes a few minutes of fiddling around with it, and a few in game days to really get a handle of how to work the mechanics. Dev, if you see this, I want DLC! I want another game! I want to see more of this world! <3 I really loved it, and I hope more people see and love this game as much as I did!
really cute game! the graphics are really lovely, very fond of the art style. i like the little graphics they use to represent different emotions and the candy mechanic is just really fun and feels original. also fond of the text that shows up on some of the people and the map. it gets a bit repetitive at points (especially if you want to 100% achievements) but i dont think thats a fault of the game at all, its just the kind of genre its part of. sometimes thats the Exact kind of game i want to play. the progression also gets really fast after the first mission you 100%, but, again, i dont see any big problem with that. the one real complaint i have is that the graphics on the ball machine do not match up to what you actually receive even though thats the games main way of signalling what's in a machine. for example i was opening the majority stress machines and consistently getting about 50/50 stress/anger candy even though there wasnt even any anger candy on the graphic. this isnt The Biggest Problem In The World given after playing a while you can kind of just remember whats in each, but it is annoying. overall really solid and ESPECIALLY for its price.
The artstyle is just gorgeous and the music is something I would love to listen to even when not playing! The gameplay loop is fine! In this game there are a lot of achievements, which is great, and they give a lot of hearts, especially towards the end. Personally I like management games that takes more time to get to the "unlock everything" phase, but in this game you reach it after about 1,5 hours of playing. For that reason I think the game serves its purpose as a cozy, relaxing, low player-effort game! Really fun that the dress up is a game mechanic, and the variety makes it fun to mix and match the different pieces.
Honestly this game drew me in the moment I saw it. The art style is absolutely beautiful and stands out amongst other games I see/play. The gameplay is calm and requires very little thinking- it's perfect to wind down and relax with. It has a imperfections but none of them are really memorable and they didn't have an impact on gameplay at all. The gameplay is repetitive but it works for this type of game and I enjoyed switching my mind off. For a first game by the dev, this is really impressive and I hope they continue to make more beautifully enchanting games that are the epitome of a pastel princess dream
Lovely lil game
A really lovely little game, beautiful cozy aesthetic and low stakes gameplay. Great to play in short bursts or idly while doing things like chatting on the phone. I wish there were more games and devs who lean into this lovely style. BerryLemonade's other free games on itchio are also all fantastic, so check them out if you love this one.
Short but sweet! The artstyle is super cute and the gameplay is surprisingly addicting. Definitely recommend if you want to become a magical girl. There is also a nice variety of skin/hair options in the character creator. I hope to see more from this developer in the future!
Highly recommend this! The gameplay is super simple, the art is lovely and the mission points are very clear. I love that you can have your avatar be dark skinned and have different hair textures, the diversity is fantastic. My only quibble would be that I'd appreciate having an option for black/dark hair -- there's blonde hair but no black hair, blue is the closest I can get. Overall, really a nice way to chill and feel good while looking at pretty art!
super cute/relaxing game. it is super quick and only took me about an hour 20 to 100% it, but for under $4 i'd say its worth it. i love the art style, the customizations looks beautiful, and the gameplay loop is fun ^_^
