Demo for Power of Ten, a single star fighter trying to save as many civilians as possible before they are overrun by a marauder armada. You'll need to gather new weapons, upgrade your ship, find resources, trade with other ships and more to overcome the challenge before you.

An amazing game, you wouldn't be able to tell that it was a demo! A handful of different ships you gradually discover through the game, an wide array of weapons/abilities/traits to select from. Beautiful pixelated action with diverse enemy encounters and battle settings. A promising show for the to-be-released version, definitely put this on your wishlist.
So far really enjoying this game, it reminds me of asteroids amplified about 1000x with a lot of variety in the core gameplay. The game is relatively simple in concept but takes some practice to become proficient. A little luck and a few homing missiles doesnt hurt either.
Can't wait for the full version. Primitive type graphics, but very entertaining. A rewarding upgrade system and tactic changing differences between weapon and defense systems. Fun!
+1 good I need chinese good game
Best demo ever! Can't wait to get the full version, this game has awesome content and retro graphics.
Freaking fun little pixel shooter with awesome weapons and upgrade mechanics. Hope they keep adding to it and making runs last longer and have a longer lasting impact on future play. Maybe a persistent galaxy.
"Power of Ten - Demo" is not strictly a game. It's an advertisement/demo for another game called Power of Ten. It's a common mistake when unfamiliar with Steam to launch demos/advertisements as full games on Steam instead of tagging them correctly as demos. Here's the instructions for putting a demo up on Steam, to demonstrate that there is a correct process for this, which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos The game that's being advertised doesn't come up to scratch here either, although this review is not for the game, it's a review for an advertisement, it's worth noting that the game appears to be in development hell, has a ridiculous $15 price tag for retro pixel garbage. It's slapped together with the crappy GameMaker Studio construction kit, which explains some of the quality problems with the game this is advertising. Crappy 2D retro pixel "art" used instead of proper graphics, worse controls and handling than StarCon 2 from the 1990's, and the developer couldn't manage to do level design or story/plot/progression properly and is trying to use procgen as a substitute for content... so the game will have no content, even if it ever gets finished, it's just repetitive samey algorithms. While it might seem like an innocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. At the end of the day, I can only recommend full, correctly published games to gamers. Because this is just an advertisement, and because of the other problems with it, I can't recommend it.
Hi, just finished a run in your game. I downloaded a couple of demos, and this is the only one that gives me the desire to come back to play again (besides Haven and Webbed). A crash happened while I was playing yesterday, but tonight when I launched the game again to start over, the progress was saved just a bit before the crash (relief!). I liked a lot the quick and simple style of the game (reminds me a bit of nova drift, but lighter/more relaxed w/ bigger maps and defence mechanics). For a Demo I think it is great! But for a full game (if its not going to be f2p) I suggest adding more content (but I bet you already know that) and letting people customize their runs as they finish/unlock more things (harder, easier, funnier, weirder), for me it seems like a trend in roguelikes these days. And about balance, I thought the TimeReversion power is much better than any other power of the ships I had (sidekick, "buzzsaws-saucers", the 2 starting ones, 1 I can't recall and the time traveler ship). They feel interesting, but the timetraveler seems op (Undoing your recently ship damage and ammo spent is so good) Good luck with your game and I hope the best :)
