Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 2 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Muito divertidinho
This was my first experience playing a game with deckbuidling and I was totally hooked. Really enjoyed having the card collecting tie in with the relationship building, which is wonderfully fun with such a lovely cast and writing. Really every aspect of this game hit just right and it was too easy to lose track of time while playing. Easily was one of my favorite games played in 2025, and I look forward to revisiting Rafta soon.

I loved this game and I highly recommend it! The gameplay loop was very addictive though challenging at first, the characters were lovable, interesting, and unique, the music was immersive, catchy, and yet perfectly ambient. Potionomics is the perfect blend of some of my favorite genres: management, deckbuilding, and dating sim. I especially enjoyed the haggling gameplay, it was very fun and satisfying building a deck over time to the point of being unstoppable! And I loved how each character had a "specialty" for the cards you unlocked from them, and it was really fascinating to me how the deckbuilding gameplay really accurately captured a sort of "socialization battle" that I'm not sure I've ever seen in another game. A few tips: When you play the game for the first time, I suggest playing on the lowest difficulty because it has quite an unforgiving learning curve. Keep in mind that you can send your heroes out even if they won't make it to the end of the area and it's still worth it, especially in the beginning. Increasing your relationship with each character is important, and very rewarding, because you earn cards that make haggling significantly easier. However, on medium difficulty I couldn't find time to increase relationships until week 2. After the first week, keep an eye out for ingredients containing purple magimins, and make sure you buy the max quantity of the good purple magimin ingredients every day. Use the filters for the ingredients when you're making potions!!! The issues... I played the game on medium difficulty, which was a mistake because I had to restart the game when I realized just how much I was missing. I think a lot of people never finished this game because the game is surprisingly challenging on medium difficulty, and the vast amount of ingredients - a lot of them completely useless - can be overwhelming, and getting ingredients that are actually useful is completely RNG. There's also a loooot going on, which can be stressful and make the game actually feel like a job at times. I can understand why the game is like this though, it really does make it feel like you're Sylvia anxiously on the struggle bus trying to make everything work out in such a short time, but I can definitely see how it can be off putting with the amount of stuff that you have to keep up with for casual gamers - and this game attracts casual gamers. The story was a bit corny to me, but eventually it did grow on me and now I find it endearing and wholesome. I can definitely see why a lot of people might be put off by the corniness. It was also very predictable, but I think that might have been intentional. I didn't like some of the characters, but interacting with the characters is completely optional. There were a few characters that I literally never talked to. Each character does something specific and there were two that had shops that I personally never used: the curses and marketing, because I didn't need that in order to succeed. All in all though, I do recommend this game because I had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time playing it - it was only challenging the first 1-2 weeks on medium difficulty, and then after I figured out the proper gameplay loop and earned some good cards from the characters (and finally found some purple magimin ingredients...), the rest of the game was a breeze!

A fabulous mix of genres. Potion maker, deck builder, and shop sim! The characters are rich, fun and incredibly voice acted. Becoming friends or lovers with them is a treat. I feel like normal difficulty was very easy towards the end when you get some powerful cards to haggle with. The only downside to this game is we dont have a sequel yet
Jesus Christ. Okay so this game masquerades as a cosy sim but it's actually a crippling debt simulator. I was in RAGS and living hand to mouth. ♥♥♥♥ was crazy. The presentation is spectacular. Art, music, UI - it looks and sounds completely fabulous. I wish they had blended animations at all. I would guess it was a conscious decision to not do that (expensive) but it makes conversations - which happen all the time - come across horribly jarring at first. Writing is solid. It feels like a kind millennial wrote it. It sometimes feels a little weird/interesting when the Pixar looking character flirts (ex. Saffron's hidden tattoos, counting freckles) but would not want it different, overall it's good. Crafting potions is mostly satisfying. The general goal is to produce the best potions you can using ingredients with two main factors - correct color ratios and higher 'magimin' values, which is a numerical value that could be interpreted as a potency measure. TLDR; Ratio & BIG NUMBER = better potion. Crunching numbers can be enjoyable. However I occasionally found matching the ratios to be frustrating; ingredients have different color values & magimin values attached to them. Brewing a specific potion essentially boils down to summing up different clusters of categorized numbers so that the varied typings & their values are as close to matching as possible. This is all well and good but ingredient values are VARIED and there are so many ingredients. The impact of this is that much of the gameplay is filtering different colors & magimin counts, squinting at values & trying to make it work with what you have. The adventurers that source ingredients need managing - so I have to have health/mana potions at the ready, plus whatever other ♥♥♥♥ they need to navigate roadblocks - and that takes up time and mental bandwidth. Encompassing all of this is the need for money. You need money to make potions and you need potions to make money. It is a vicious oroboros hell-treadmill. In the beginning I really did feel destitute and squeaked by the competition but mid-late game I was kind of rich so I DUNNO maybe its just harder at first. The game initially feels more difficult than it should be - to me. I think I would like difficulty to feel different. The main challenge is having numbers live in my head and that's not super fun personally. For example, I would desperately like to know what potions I am capable of making with my spread of ingredients. I would also like to know what tiers I can reasonably reach. Intellectually I understand that it's part of the puzzle to make something with what you have - pleasant surprises come from that, calculations, that's kind of neat - but after crafting perhaps 300 potions it gets boring. Clearly it was entertaining enough for me to keep trucking along but was I trucking along for the potions or Saffron's alleged hidden tattoos I felt I was doing well but lord have mercy. I kinda wanted to complete this game in the same way I would kinda want an occupying demon to be exorcised. I was asked if it was fun and I can't be normal about answering that. No? Yes? Sort of? Is being possessed by the devil fun? Dunno Let me conclude this review on something more lucid. Potionomics is a compelling management game with a charming cast of characters and dating sim elements. You can get to know your delightful suppliers while you perfect your brews in service to a competition which acts as the main conflict - in winning the competition you earn money to keep your establishment from going under. Better relationships elegantly loop back into your economy through expanded inventory, material performance, and better cards for your deck. Customers come in and you must sell them your potions - this is done through a turn based card system wherein the main character shows off various sales techniques to pump up the price and seal the deal. It's highly immersive. I was salivating and cheering whenever I pulled off a disgusting swindle. Overall!! I had lots of fun but I think the moment to moment could be improved with some light UI tweaks around potion crafting so that less calculus sits in the head. 4/5.
