Potatoman Seeks the Troof

It is a fun experience... and discovering the titular Troof is enough of a reason to play. However the game is short, so much that you can clear it well under an hour for both achievements if you're comfortable with some good platforming challenges. The full price of $3.99 doesn't really reflect the actual gameplay in my opinion, though on sales it's usually under $1 and that's about right for the experience. Other than that it's short and sweet adventure with graphics and music that remind me of good old classic indies like VVVVVV, Super Hexagon, Super Wagon Adventure, etc.

(game not complete at .2 hours of gameplay at time of review, part of my review all my games effort) (short version) I would have recommended this if it had some type of save function, as is the game is just rage inducing enough to cause you to rage quit, and then you have to start from 0. I get it's a game jam game, and probally not all that long. I was on the fence with this one but the $4 price point, with no save or rogue-like elements to keep it interesting keeps me from doing that. There are flash games like this for free online.

Eh, it's a bit dated in both humour and style (not music though, loved the music). There's this one section with boulders which is way too heavy with RNG, I never felt like I got good at it, only lucky. But the ending redeemed the game for me. Worth sticking around for.

Reminiscent to one of those troll platformers like I wanna be the guy, but relatively easier, and short. Still, a quite fun enough experience
