Reviews
If Postal 2 is a dark comedy and Postal 1 is a psychological horror, Brain Damaged is what happens when the Postal Dude drops acid, gets a concussion, and wakes up inside a 90s boomer shooter. Honestly, after the absolute dumpster fire that was Postal 4 at launch, I had zero expectations for this. But handing the franchise over to Hyperstrange was a stroke of genius. They stripped away the janky open-world errands and turned it into a fast, buttery-smooth retro FPS with bunny-hopping, strafe-jumping, and actual level design that respects your time. The weapons are ridiculously fun. You get a shotgun with a meat hook straight out of Doom Eternal, a sniper rifle that zooms in through a literal digital camera screen, and a smart-pistol that auto-targets enemies based on how much urine you’ve sprayed on them. The movement is snappy, the gunplay feels heavy, and the art style looks like a high-octane 90s comic book brought to life. The humor is still classic Postal—you’re fighting weaponized Karens, conspiracy theorists wearing tin-foil hats, and furries in a fever-dream version of a suburban neighborhood and a mental asylum—but the gameplay actually holds up on its own merits without relying only on the shock value. On the downside, a few of the platforming sections feel a bit floaty, and a couple of boss fights drag on way longer than they need to. Also, Corey Cruise stepping in to voice the Dude instead of Rick Hunter takes a second to get used to, even though he does a great job with the lines. Got high on bad medicine, hooked-shot into a giant mutant brain, peed on an alien to charge my laser gun, and accidentally played through the whole campaign in two sittings. 9/10. The best Postal game in 20 years.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 323.8/day in the week to Jul 16 → 7.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Like other reviews I've made I am writing this as I have completed the game. And I can confidently say that it was definitely fun. I thought that the weapon variety was great and that level were generally fun though at times some key collecting parts were tedious. but overall I thought the game was great and I will recommend this game to fans of the fps genre
how could i NOT recommend the game that has a bow with dildos as arrows?
JUEGAZO!! JUEGAZO CERTIFICADO GENTE!! 1.
What if we make a Doom game, but make it Postal? RWS' best idea yet.
My favourite postal game so far i love the arcade style the dude in this is my favrioute and probably will remain it because the voice for him is perfect and i love his design
Solid boom shoot, secrets can be a ♥♥♥♥♥ to find/access, weapons are creative reworks of the favorites. Worth it at full price but if you're on the fence it frequently goes on sale. Runs spectacular on legion go.
i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this game, i hate everything about it. everything feels forced, the mechanics dont feel satisfying and the fact they try to facilitate the speedrunning on this game makes speedrunning feel forced, and almost every single gun feels either too weak or too clunky and slow. the movement is simple which is okay but its so boring and just annoying. the game wasnt made to be taken seriously and thats okay, you can have a goofy game but it still has to be enjoyable otherwise itll just be actually bad instead of satirically bad
