There's a great foundation and a super fun game here already. I really feel like the promise of future modes could see this build into something really special for puzzle game fans like me. Join the Discord, participate while this thing develops!
This is the Super smash brothers of puzzle game
I like the game! The cursor takes some getting used to, but the loop feels satisfying, i'm looking forward to playing more.. The soundtrack is going for a house-music-type thing, primarily with drum machines. but i would love to hear some melodies, and/or multiple drum sets working at different timbres and volumes. the music feels like a draft, and i feel like you can make it 100%!

Very fun and unique puzzle game made by a badass dev that coded the entire thing without an engine! I think it has a lot of potential for competition and should be able to find a thriving community over time :D The base mechanics do take a moment to learn, but once you figure it out the gameplay becomes downright hypnotic. My first play lasted for over 57 minutes and I barely thought it had been 20. The potential skill ceiling in Polymino is absolutely huge, and the addition of a vs mode with special mechanics and abilities just adds to it even more. I'd be VERY interested to see what the likes of the Tetris community could achieve on this game given the motivation to grind it. I only had a brief chance to play the vs mode, but it's clear that the developer has and will continue to put a lot of effort into making it interesting and action-packed. With more people playing it I think it will only get better over time! Controls feel better to me on a controller than on keyboard, but keyboard still works fine. Would suggest using a controller if you can. I believe pretty much anything with a dpad and 4 buttons will work for this game, and I would definitely suggest using the dpad over a stick because 1 click = move 1 gridsquare and that's much more accurate than smooth movement.
