*Poly Fire* is a tactical multiplayer first-person shooter that brings fast-paced action to team-based combat. With up to 32 players battling it out across a variety of maps, this game encourages team coordination and strategic thinking. The use of different characters and weapons adds depth to the gameplay, allowing players to adapt their playstyle and tactics as they progress through matches. The game features several maps and three game modes, offering enough variety to keep things interesting. Whether you're playing with a group of friends or joining random players through the server browser, *Poly Fire* focuses heavily on teamwork. This is evident in the way players are encouraged to manage their skills and coordinate with teammates to secure victory, making it more than just another run-and-gun shooter. One of the highlights of *Poly Fire* is the emphasis on tactical gameplay. Instead of mindless shooting, players need to think about their weapon choices, character abilities, and how they approach each situation. This makes it a game where every match feels different depending on how the team works together. However, the game faces a significant issue that could affect the experience for many players: a lack of an active player base. Despite offering solid mechanics and decent gunplay, the game's potential is limited by its limited player pool. The game doesn't support AI bots, which means if you can't find a match with real players, you're stuck with no option to enjoy the game. In terms of visuals and gameplay, the gun mechanics feel satisfying, and the maps provide enough variety to keep things fresh. The character and weapon system, while simple, allows for enough variety to make each match feel unique. Overall, *Poly Fire* offers an engaging tactical shooter experience with a lot of potential, but its viability is heavily dependent on an active player base. If you're lucky enough to find a match with others, the game can be a lot of fun, but without players, its appeal quickly fades. For those who enjoy tactical team-based FPS games, it’s worth trying—just be prepared for the possibility that finding an active match might be a challenge.
|《Poly Fire》 |

Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"Poly Fire" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is a garbage, really generic kitbash of low poly Unreal assets dumped on a PvP arena game blueprint for Unreal, a price tag slapped on it (the developer was trying to get YOUR money for other people's game assets), and then wondered why they didn't become a millionaire. (hint: It's because this is garbage). So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Poly Fire". Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $15 USD for this. Greed, or delusion? Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. The comedic part is that this is a game for 32 players per map... so with only 4 people, this was NEVER actually played the way it was intended to be. What a joke! This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
