Poltergeist Watcher

Pretty fun so far, plays along the lines of I'm On Observation Duty, but with a little more scare. However, there are a couple drawbacks: In one area, these black orb like things appear, and when I report it, nothing is to be fixed. I have reported them as anomolies, and other ways, but they don't count...which is odd. Another drawback is how long it takes after you report something you may have seen (but haven't), so it takes some time from the in-game time to scan to another room. When hearing sounds, sometimes it sounds like it's coming from another section, when in fact it is coming from the room you are in. Besides those drawbacks, which hopefully get looked at, I recommend this game. I happened to get it on sale, as it was in my wish list. I personally didn't find it "scary", but that's just me xD Devs, if you are seeing this, this is a gem of a game, but reporting those black orb things in the one room (don't know what room it is called), but it has boxes and there are stairs, I believe, should count as an anomoly. What is this game? It's Observation Duty in a haunted house, simply. I'll be honest, this genre is not usually my cup of tea beyond watching the occasional streamer play one. I did play through Chilla's Art's Shinkansen 0 and enjoyed it but that was more for the horror atmosphere, it still got a bit silly and wacky. This game though, plays it a fair bit more straight. The mansion is old, dark, and tempts you to crank up the brightness (you should, too). The anomalies are often much more grounded, things like doors and cupboards opening themselves, items moving around, knocking and scratching sounds on the walls. Sometimes the ghosts actually appear as apparitions, or have big fits where they throw a ton of things around, giving some fun scares. It absolutely delivers as a budget slice of spookiness. It's really not perfect though. One big issue is there's separate reports for item appeared, item moved, and item disappeared. These can be practically impossible to differentiate sometimes if you don't know whether the item that just appeared was already in the room, and some are partially obscured, making it near impossible to tell that it should have been Move instead of Appear or Disappear. It's mighty frustrating when it costs you a run. That aside, if you like anomaly games, this is a good 'un especially for horror fans at this price.
