PogoChamp is a hilarious 3D platformer inspired by I Am Bread and Getting Over It, but with a deliberate focus on being "Fun, not Frustrating". Where most QWOP-like games involve complex & unintuitive control schemes, PogoChamp's controls are easy to understand (though still tricky to master).

I had a ton of fun playing PogoChamp, despite essentially never playing similar games. I found the controls intuitive and responsive and was really impressed by the variety of the level design. Mastering the movement is not easy, but I was quickly hooked and within a day I was flying through levels, doing flips and trailing rainbows behind me after my properly-timed jumps. For the difficulty curve, the first few levels teach you the basics before the difficulty starts to really ramp up. By the middle levels, you need a solid grasp of the art of pogo, and the game also starts adding in alternative modes of movement, like swimming and rocket jumping. Many of the later levels are extremely difficult. Each level has a set of goal times that earn you stars if you reach them. I liked to go for 3 stars on every level as I initially worked through the game. This helped me develop solid fundamentals that were useful later on, but it certainly isn't the only way to play. I've watched others have fun just beating the hardest available levels and then backtracking later on to improve their personal best times on earlier levels. If you ever get stuck on a level, you can always watch replays of the best players using the excellent in-game replay system. You can even try to get a world record! I held a few at one point, and enjoyed the friendly competition for some of the individual level leaderboards. I imagine that at the time of this review, there are still many world record strategies yet to be developed. The music and graphics are somewhat simplistic and the community around PogoChamp is very small at the time of the review. These things were not dealbreakers for me, but you can always watch a little gameplay to see if it is a problem for you. One caveat, though: although all the early levels tend to have an almost identical aesthetic, there is somewhat more variety later on, largely through certain thematic levels like the piano level (one of my favorites, featuring a piano you can play) and the Breakout level (where you play the classic game Breakout), just to name a few.

so much fun saw the streamer AaronWigwam playing it and had to check it out and i am now addicted to playing it, and highly recommend you will easily spend 40 hours playing it and then another 100 hours trying to beat your friends scores or random strangers scores
Забавная скилл игра на погстике, удивительно, что тут смогли ввести и разнообразие и интересные задания и неплохие механики. Понравилось проходить уровни без прыжков. https://youtu.be/U2ftKB8uBbU
Actually fire
.
This game is getting over it. If getting over it was actually fun and designed like Mario, rather than cat Mario. Also, it was sent to me free thanks dev :D https://youtu.be/nFlwfi7chJg
pogopogopogo the 100% cutscene was a nice touch
So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. It's one of those hard platformer games with simple but very nuanced controls, but it never feels punishing or unfun. A lot of that comes down to the level progression, which is good at teaching the player new nuances of the movement mechanics, and at presenting challenges that are hard but never feel impossible. The game is also funny. Something about the sound effects, the crash dummy on a pogo stick, the way you leave behind a body every time you fail. Progressing through a new level ends up creating this growing pile of bodies littering the floor, sticking out of walls, freezing mid-air when you smash the reset button and abort an already failed attempt. And when you win, it then replays every single attempt you made alongside the winning run. You're never alone in the pit of failure as long as you have all of your dead you's keeping you company.
Jeu avec fort potentiel de speedrun et ça c'est très bon, il manque juste un skin aux maps et au perso et on est nickel
I suck and I ragequit, do no recommend if you get frustrated easily. https://youtu.be/spuSunP9l28
