[h1] Gameplay / Geschichte [/h1] Wir erkunden in diesem Abenteuer verschiedene Buchte/Strände, Wälder und sind Inhaber einer großen Burg, welche auch einen Marktplatz in der Mitte bietet wo Handel betrieben wird. Wir müssen in unserem Alttag als Burgherr Handel betreiben, um unsere Geldbörse zu füllen. Auch kochen wir, bauen verschiedene Gegenstände oder beherbergen unsere Gäste mit vielen köstlichen Gerichten und Getränke. Allerdings sind da draußen noch andere, welche uns ans Leder wollen und unser Hab und Gut an sich reißen wollen. Wir statten unseren Helden mit Ausrüstung aus und bekämpfen somit unsere Feinde ob Tier oder Mensch. Sprich mit den Einheimischen, besuche die Geschäfte und Gilden, suche eine königliche Audienz, erkunde die tiefen Wälder und sonnigen Strände. After picking your character from a premade selection of four guys and four girls, you end up inside your bedroom. There’s not much of an introduction to the game’s world or what exactly you’re supposed to be doing, but if you’re interested in some of the lore, you can read a few books on various topics by interacting with bookshelves. As for everything else, you’ll need to figure out how things work on your own. First of all, objects you can interact with are not marked in any way. This leads to a lot of walking around and pressing the interaction button in front of everything just in case it has something interesting. Most interactions simply give you a comment, but some reveal more and let you pick up an item here and there. However, while your home offers plenty of these interactions, the rest of the game isn’t nearly as generous, and it’s best not to waste time with them unless something really stands out or looks important, such as notes or unique items. This doesn’t apply to the various characters populating the world, who you’ll naturally want to talk to. However, unless they own a business, they don’t have anything interesting to say and simply repeat the same dialogue. Shop owners let you browse their wares, and each inventory fits the type of establishment. A clothing store sells expensive outfits, while the girl at the beach sells fishing rods and bait. After getting comfortable with the controls, you can move around, visit the four main locations, and simply explore while memorizing where everything is. Locations are accessed by interacting with a map on a notice board, and each one contains several screens to explore and buildings to enter. Along the way, you’ll come across all sorts of activities, such as a fishing spot where you can fish with the proper equipment, a mine where you can work for free resources, and various places where you can spend your money. Although it might seem like money will be hard to come by, it’s actually very easy to earn. Right outside your house is a stall you can work at for some quick cash. Even better, you can simply sleep in your bed and work at the stall again, allowing you to grind money for as long as you like. Eventually, you’ll be able to buy just about anything you want and even invest in businesses, which generate additional income each day. The only downside is that you have to visit each business yourself to collect the profits. You can also sleep until night, which not only changes the locations with new characters and rare interactions but also causes enemies to appear. Until you get a decent weapon and some armor, they’ll destroy you almost instantly. Fortunately, money solves that problem too, letting you hire a warrior or a mage and buy various scrolls to learn new skills and spells. There are also quests you can handle, but they're only revealed to you in the form of notes in the inventory, and there's nothing guiding you towards them.
