You are here to kill as many birds as you can with your bow and your HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. Skyhearth features tracked motion controller aiming for Vive and head aiming for Rift and Vive. It's easy to play and challenging to master.

I had been shooting with a bow in real life. It wasn't one of those modern sports bows but a realistic one made of wood and a string. So I can safely say that the realistic feel in this basically tech demo is non-existent. Arrows don't go where you aim and the headset itself gets in the way when aiming. Very underwhelming experience and I am disappointed because it seemed good on the store page and it has positive reviews for a reason I cannot find.
The game is not bad, an archery simulator, something simple but free and with achievements.

Hey, this is pretty fun! Head aiming is quite intuitive, and the world feels vivid and alive. With it being free and all, it's worth a visit! But okay, the game is a bit sparse, content-wise. Also, you can only use a right hand bow, which is a disadvantage to the 33 % of the players who happens to be left eye dominant. Or is this even important? As much as the game sucked me in, I'm unsure how much I'm able to develope actual skills here, or if it is more down to luck and the game 'helping' me a tiny bit. Still, consider me sufficiently entertained!
Plenty: Skyhearth is a free VR bow and arrow shooter, where you are killing moving birds on a timer. It worked on my HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Very challenging targets. Has a tutorial. Has Steam acheivements. CONS: - Does not work with Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link controllers, missing arrow grabbing.
Another archery shooting demo. Only one thing to do and not very good. Gigant hitboxes that you feel like cheating. Only good for the first minutes.
В восторге от этой игры и она мне очень понравилась. Графика очаровательна, музыка запоминающаяся, а геймплей - это весело и не принужденно.
You can aim with your head in this game. The joke is that I think the leaderboards must be filled with people who did gaze aiming. I think the developer should put a kibosh on that. However, the hand method, you know, reaching behind your back for an arrow, then jocking the arrow to your bow by pressing trigger and then pulling back and letting go of trigger to fire. That method is satisfying. It's very difficult to hit birds that fly far away in a distance. Not sure the physics are correct, but it's not as easy as aiming on target, you have to estimate where the bird will be and where your arrow will land. Your arms will get tired. It's free and fun enough to recommend. Rating 6/10 fun in small batches as a timekiller mostly
