Oh boy this game pisses me off. I don't want to read all the basics of meditation practice fox wants to tell me about. "Just breathe." "Be aware you are breathing..." Just know everything is meditation. Waste time in this game... you have to come back 3 more days to earn anything. You can't walk around. Stuck on a marshy wet lands that gaslights you to admit you know you are on an ocean that you can not witness. You might say that I should dedicate wasting my time by meditating to a bunch of pixels, but I am already a grand master meditator irl. I can't sit in front of a screen and accept it as irl, when I have so much real life in real life already. Sure. You guys should learn to meditate the way this game wants to teach you to meditate, especially if you need help learning. But I'm going to meditate how I meditate best, outside of this game. This game would be for someone on a big screen tv while they did yoga right in front of it. But I do not want to meditate on faked real world surroundings. Give me clouds. Give me multi-dimensional spacial-shifting planes. "No Man's Sky" is so much more amazing to meditate within! And I mean that!

Great app for learning meditations and establishing it as a daily habit. I do think I have outgrown the app at this point after breaking my 188 day streak to go on a vacation where I didn't bring my laptop, but I will carry what I've learned with me as I meditate more outside and in nature. Great meditation resource, especially in VR. Very beginner friendly and absolutely worth the money if you're looking to relax.

Beautiful game, though not flawless. There is a bug that has been bothering me but it's not gamebreaking and it doesn't affect gameplay at all really and you may not experience it.

Only sat down for one session, had a lot of thoughts, but I managed to focus on my breathing, and before I knew it, the minutes were up and I felt a lot more comfortable and relaxed. It works on something we all have inside us, patience and focuse on nothing and being forgiving to ourselves when we can't focus. This is a game is truly a personal experience, meaning only for yourself, you do it for you, and not for somebody else. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a breather, feels tired, stressed, worried, anxious, or want to give it a try. Do it for yourself, you deserve it!

Fantastic meditation game, zero b***t and 100% useful practices that really help calming my mind. The visuals are really soothing - everything in Playne works for me, I would recommend it to anyone having problem with anxiety or feeling losing control of what's happening in their mind.

Thoughtful ambient soundscapes and visuals + meditation guidance for beginners: Personally I like to close my eyes but one can be aided to breathe in different intervals with playne.

I was searching to see if there were any games based on meditation and came across Playne. At first, I didn’t buy it because my old laptop only had an integrated GPU and the game recommended a GTX 960. After upgrading my setup, I bought it on sale and started playing. The meditation exercises are simple and easy to follow, and practicing them daily helps develop a consistent meditation habit. You can choose how long to meditate and track your breathing and thoughts. The game lets you pause or stop at any time, and even short sessions can be helpful. The game has two meditation modes. The first is the Habit Building Mode, where your in-game campfire grows day by day and can be fully grown in 60 days. If you break your streak, the campfire resets. The second is Passive Mode, where the campfire grows based on the total number of days you meditate, without depending on a streak. Overall, this is a game that people can play every day to focus on meditation and it is the only good meditation game I have found on Steam.
