Super cute game with an adorable cast of characters. Gameplay reminds me of Tomb Raider but without the guns. Really got drawn into the characters and story. I especially loved the rope swinging puzzles. Fluid controls and ran really well on my PC ( intel 7700K w/ GTX 1070 )

Had a great time playing it so far, soundtrack is top notch. Reminded of old-school games with the deceptively simple combat mechanics, silent protagonist, easter eggs, and rewarding exploration. Surprising amount of stuff hidden around the game and looking through achievements after first completion I still have a decent amount to find. Definitely tougher than I had assumed it would be based on the art style. I made the mistake of underestimating it and starting on the highest difficulty and it absolutely made me pay for it, but the experience was satisfyingly hard instead of unfair. Not perfectly polished and did run into a few issues but above par for buying a game on Day 1 let alone for an indie game.
If you have kids or a Child at heart you can't go wrong with this game!, its a solo indie dev project and my god its crazy the amount of work went in to this game. 🟢 Pros: The Art design will blow you away and you'll think your in Australia the story is great and well put together, will get you sucked in for hours, Characters are true to there nature and look like the actually Animals photo mode is a great tool so you can capture that prefect moment 🔴 Cons: a few bugs where you'll swing or talk to an npc and you'll be stuck in place and have to respawn combat seems easy even on normal, and might need a bit more of adjustment the arrows pointing you the right way is there for one mission but gone for the next, would love to see it all the time so i know where i am going, map is huge, over all great experience and i can see the dev put a lot of time and effect in to this game, well worth the buy you will get hours of fun out of this game! you can check out my playthrough here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYXd4itApY4Z8KO-h9i__CHS58FE-8CCE STAY JUICY and happy gaming!
I love this game, beautiful soundtrack and graphics
I've been hanging out for this game for a long time! and so far is does not disappoint! such amazing artwork and so fun to go around and explore, can't wait to really be able to sit down and sink my teeth into this when work isn't threatening on the horizon
This game is totally amazing, WHY? Because this guy made it just one person, just one. Look that animations, the environement feels like you like in a epic jungle. The everything is keeps you in the feeling in Austirialla. This is truly an amazing game for everyone who wants to be in a good story. The game characters are really funny! Yes, they are very different of each other and makes very fun. This is not a story for just Platy, it is a story of a realism, the passion and the game where you can kick some @$$.
So far so good! You can tell a lot of heart and soul went in to this game and it's very impressive that this was all done by a solo developer. Very cute characters, environment is warm and colourful. I am definitely looking forward to playing more of this to discover what else is left to discover. Oh and it's working nicely on my Steam Deck which is a bonus because it feels like a great game to play while relaxing on the couch.
For a game made completely by one person, I am very impressed! The aesthetics were awesome, the music was good (in the few parts there WAS music), and bonus points for the ability to upgrade equipment! My only criticism would be the combat. In its current state, if feels unbalanced. The enemies can surround and trap you which pretty much means instant death, the dodge mechanic feels like it's on a cooldown as well (which I thought was odd), and when you heal using an item, you stop. I found my healing mitigated on several occasions when I was being chased by enemies, stopped to heal, then got hit again, which cancelled out my healing entirely. And if I'm being honest, there's no real incentive to even fight the enemies. There's no reward for beating them, and they don't drop anything (like health or items needed to trade with the villagers), so you can really just run right past them and carry on with your objective. That all being said, I must restate that THE ENTIRE GAME was all done by ONE person. So despite its combat flaws, this game is still definitely worth a playthrough. It's short, sweet, and gives us a glimpse of the Australian world of wildlife. As someone who has made a short indie game themselves, it makes me want to go back and sharpen MY skills.
Great little original game. Gameplay is solid and has less bugs then alot of AAA titles. Alot more content then i initially thought would be in the game. Very expansive and immersive world with great original asset use. Has an educational side that causes you to indirectly end up learning about alot about Australia. Ive followed and been apart of the Platy project for a fair while now and to see what a single dev can achieve on his own is amazing. 2023 and dev continues to improve, update and add to the game well after release.
