Pizza Time Explosion is a nice lil game! It's got plenty of content and has enough to keep you coming back! And it's got a cute art style too! It's a nice game if you're into arcade-like games where you're going for a high score >w< (Btw, my playtime looks low, but that's just because I've mostly played the itch.io version which came out a month ago)
This is a fun and quirky arcade-style game I can find myself becoming REALLY addicted to if I'm not careful. I would go so far as to say that as someone who's supported the dev on itch.io for awhile before she made her Steam debut here, it's definitely her best game. Highly recommended if you want a game you can sit back and enjoy for awhile.

This is a super fun and polished arcade style game, and is great for some pick-up-a d-llay gameplay for the price! I love how the numbers get REAL big! Trans rights! Highly recommend! UPDATE: Wow this game has SO much more content than you'd expect! It's so sincerely worth the money, if you're into arcade style score challenges!!! I promise! P.S: Use a controller, it's so much better!
This game is Really Challenging But I actually enjoy it I recommend give this game a try if you like pizza.
A fun little score attack bullet hell with some cute character design
Cute, fun and charming - it even gives you the option of choosing pinapple and anchovies as toppings ( or not ) before you begin lol. You are tasked with collecting pizza toppings within a time limit, while avoiding trash - so you can make the pizza time explosion! game supports leaderboards, and has many modes of gameplay ( various difficulties, time based and etc ) along with ( from what I saw ) 6 diffferent levels that add more mechnics and hazards. it's cheap and fun ~ like a good pizza should be!~
Pizza Time Explosion is the third game I've played from this dev and their work continues to impress me. While PTE isn't as much "my thing" as Super Climb Up was, it's still an excellent arcade-style game with cute art and a serious challenge. And that's something I want you to understand - Electric Prune Juice Games are all very cute and wholesome but ARCADE HARD by design. Marshmallow in Fruit Land remains one of maybe three games to make me legit SALTY with its puzzles. They weren't unfair, just challenging - and that assessment remains true of Pizza Time Explosion. In this very normal game, you take on the role of a slice of pepperoni pizza in the Pizza Dimension collecting toppings to grow the Pizza Star. The core gameplay is very similar to Pac-Man by way of Sinistar in how you control your slice and collect item while avoiding enemies and obstacles. The game even has a pretty clear lore about it, which you can infer from the levels and how they progress; it's very "show-don't-tell". What sets it apart from its inspirations is a really cool and rewarding score multiplication mechanic, whereby collecting toppings along the right "chain" builds your score multiplier, which rewards skill, reflexes, and learning the level layouts. The multiplier grows faster the more quickly you follow the chain, and the higher it grows, the faster your little slice can move. There may be some sort of upper limit on the speed, but I honestly couldn't tell. As with previous games by Electric Prune Juice, the art and visual design of the game is cute and playful. The animation is charming and a lot of attention to detail shines through as you experience it. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention this game's STELLAR soundtrack, as well, which compliments the art and gameplay very well. The music is all original, thematic, and eclectic in the right ways, composed by one "Cassie". Spoiler: Pac-Man himself makes an appearance on the game's soundtrack doing vocals. In fact, there are SEVERAL easter eggs throughout the game for you to discover; things that didn't need to be there, but are because this is a project of passion and homage. PTE is a challenging, cute, and well-crafted game. Its mechanics are polished and really reward mastery. There are way more bells, whistles, and easter eggs than you would expect from a studio this small, and it all adds up to an undeniable charm that pervades this developer's games. This game is easy to recommend to anyone looking for a modern take on classic arcade gameplay and I really hope it sells well enough to justify a mobile port, because I can 100% see this being a perfect waiting room time killer.
Do you like pizza, gaining high scores, shooting flies with pepperoni, and cute pizzeria employees? Then this game is probably for you. This is a very fun arcade styled shooter game about a pizza slice trying to collect pizza toppings in order to make "The Pizza Star" explode! (Hence the title..) The game has tons of replay value, and becomes more challenging as you progress. There are tons of fun collectibles and visuals to unlock (Including a cute watermelon skin) The music and graphics are really good too! In short... I highly recommend this game if you're looking to have some fun! (Or again.. if you just like pizza.)
Cute and wacky arcade game. Good fun chasing high scores and keeps bringing you back for more. Animation is really well done and there's a lot of thought into the places where players could potentially get caught up in order to maintain your flow.
Pizza Time Explosion is a game and honestly i feel like that's a convincing enough argument to buy the game
i'll leave an actual review later. but PTE is a solid (and at times, addicting) score attack bullet hell game. it's very different from anything else i've really played, so take what i write at face value. it does suffer from the occasional sprinkling of BS (flies) and the soundtrack being hard on the ears at times, but even during my most distressed times, i had fun with this game, and i'm sure you would too. (just change your controls in the menu if you use a keyboard)
