Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun stupid humor and swingy unique tactics.
Pit People is a turn-based strategy adventure developed and published by The Behemoth, the studio known for its unmistakable art style and irreverent humor in titles like Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater. With Pit People, the studio shifted from fast-paced action to tactical, grid-based combat, yet retained its signature personality. The result is a colorful, absurd, and surprisingly thoughtful strategy RPG that balances accessibility with mechanical depth while wrapping everything in an unapologetically strange post-apocalyptic setting. The story begins in typical Behemoth fashion: bizarre, unexpected, and delivered with comedic flair. After a giant space bear crashes into the world and shatters civilization into fragmented biomes, ordinary villagers are thrust into extraordinary circumstances. You primarily follow Horatio, a blueberry farmer whose quiet life is interrupted by chaos, as he assembles a team of misfits to navigate this fractured landscape. The narrative unfolds with a persistent, sarcastic narrator who comments on events with dry wit and exaggerated seriousness. While the plot itself is not deeply complex, it is entertaining and filled with memorable moments that maintain momentum between battles. Combat takes place on hexagonal grids in turn-based encounters. Movement and positioning are central to success. Units automatically attack when adjacent to enemies, which streamlines traditional tactical menus and places greater emphasis on placement strategy. Ranged units must carefully line up attacks to avoid friendly fire, while defensive and support units create opportunities through buffs and healing. The simplified interface makes the game approachable for newcomers to the genre, yet deeper tactical considerations emerge as enemy formations grow more complex and varied. One of the game’s standout features is its recruitment system. After weakening enemy units in battle, players can capture and recruit them into their party. This mechanic introduces an element of collection and experimentation. The roster includes a wide range of classes and creature types, from human warriors and archers to cyclops, vampires, robots, and even sentient cupcakes. Each unit type comes with unique traits and strengths, encouraging players to experiment with party composition and adapt strategies for different mission types. The ability to continuously expand and customize your team adds replay value and a sense of long-term progression. Outside of combat, players explore an overworld map filled with quests, arena challenges, and side missions. These optional objectives provide additional resources, experience, and equipment while fleshing out the game’s eccentric world. Loot and gear add incremental customization to units, though the focus remains more on team synergy than complex stat optimization. The game’s pacing benefits from this mix of story missions and optional content, preventing the tactical encounters from feeling repetitive. Visually, Pit People is unmistakably a Behemoth creation. The bold, cartoonish art style features exaggerated character proportions, vibrant colors, and expressive animations. Despite the whimsical appearance, the battlefield remains readable, ensuring clarity during tactical play. The audio complements the visuals with playful sound effects and an energetic soundtrack. The narrator’s voice acting further reinforces the comedic tone, injecting personality into nearly every scenario. Multiplayer options enhance the experience. Local and online co-op allow two players to share control of the party, making strategic planning a collaborative effort. Competitive modes offer additional challenges, though the single-player campaign remains the primary draw. While the game’s online player base may fluctuate over time, co-op remains a strong way to experience the campaign with a friend. Although Pit People excels in charm and creativity, its strategic depth may feel lighter compared to more hardcore tactical RPGs. The streamlined mechanics, while elegant, limit certain layers of complexity. However, this design choice also ensures the game remains fast-moving and accessible without overwhelming players with excessive micromanagement. The focus is on fun, variety, and personality rather than intricate systems. Ultimately, Pit People stands as a distinctive blend of tactical strategy and absurd humor. It succeeds in making turn-based combat approachable while maintaining enough variety and strategic nuance to stay engaging. With its vibrant art style, inventive recruitment mechanics, and comedic storytelling, it offers a memorable experience that feels both playful and thoughtfully designed. For players seeking a strategy game that doesn’t take itself too seriously yet still rewards careful planning, Pit People delivers a lively and entertaining adventure. Rating: 9/10
Одна из лучших пошаговых игр в которые я играл
This game is super funny and has a cool story. But the gameplay is so slow that beating 1 or 2 missions can take up to an hour or more. If you have a lot of time it is worth it, but good luck getting a friend to play it with you.
The only game that consistently makes me laugh audibly.
