[b]EDIT: regarding the developer's reply to this review, even the shadiest key seller imaginable would still be more "reputable" than him. * * *[/b] On 9 April 2020, the "developer" of this game illegally revoked thousands of keys he sold for it on other sites, harming all Steam users who paid for those keys or received them as gifts. Valve needs to make it harder for developers to simply revoke keys at will like this. In most jurisdictions, according to consumer defense laws, Valve would also be considered legally responsible in these cases, since it is their Steam platform that allows the generation of those keys and their revocation. [b]UNTIL PEOPLE START MASS REPORTING THESE CASES FOR FRAUD OR LEGAL VIOLATION, VALVE WON'T DO ANYTHING. SO PLEASE GO TO THE GAME'S STORE PAGE, CLICK ON THE FLAG ICON AND REPORT IT.[/b] Also, report the developer's profile for scam and blacklist all his games by clicking the IGNORE button on their store pages so he won't see a cent from any of us again. The "developer" banned me and everyone else who posted on the game's discussion threads urging people to report the case to Valve, and then deleted those threads. [b]Finally, under no circumstances send emails to this "developer" asking for new keys. Not only is the "game" not worth it, but also an individual who scams their player base like this cannot be trusted with any of your personal info.[/b]

[h1]TL;DR[/h1] Do not buy this, nor any other games by SRM Games. [h1]The Game[/h1] Pit Blocks 3D is your typical 3D Tetris-like affair. The background visuals are nice, and weren't distracting from the gameplay. The game can be really challenging on the smaller pits. The music selection is quite varied, and sound really good (for the most part. Looking at you, Fantasy category). There are minor storylines that play out for each Theme, which offer a nice respite from the gameplay. [strike]I encountered a glitch where, with the Theme set to Random, the game would just idle on the current Pit in its current condition. No Story Cards, no new blocks, no time ticking down, no block rotation, no block movement. Not even the Escape key worked to bring up the menu. All I could do was rotate the camera around the Pit (both keyboard and mouse options worked). The only way to close the game was to Alt-Tab out. I deduced that the issue is with the Halloween Theme, which appears to be broken in Version 1.3. The Halloween music under the Audio settings works fine at least, and doesn't sound bad at all.[/strike] (Update: 4/24/20) Fixed. There is no button combination to zoom in. You can only use the mouse wheel, which I found to be a real hassle on larger Pits. Some of these Achievements will take [b]forever[/b] to get (e.g. Pit Master, all the Silver^3 ones). There's no Achievements for non-cubic Pit layouts, but it's understandable why it was limited to those. There's no Achievements for not enabling Pause Option, Shadow Assist (which I didn't find useful), nor Target Assist. The only downside is the reduction in points so your name won't appear as high on the Leaderboards, which most people won't care about anyways. I found the sound of the blocks freezing over on the Ice Cave Theme really grating. Some of the animals in the Painted Forest Theme would glitch out on occasion in typical Unity fashion. Now, onto the [b]real[/b] reason why most of you are reading this review... [h1]The Controversy[/h1] Other reviews explained the details about keys being revoked, so I won't. I [b]DO[/b] want to point out his comment on MMOFallout's article "STEAM SCAMS: SRM GAMES MELTDOWN AFTER FRAUDULENTLY REVOKING KEYS." I highly recommend reading it (and the article, of course). Especially to see the kind of verbal attacks he is capable of spewing outside of Steam. The highlight is this line: "Do you sjw losers always [****] on your betters cuz you'll never be half as good as they are?? Or are u just bottom feeders feeding off the misery of others even when they're at their lowest if this article is even half true?" I feel that line really reveals what kind of person SRM Games is. Mellow_Online1, curator of the group Sentinels of the Store, would proceed to call SRM Games out in the Discussions for his attitude in the comment & suggest he apologize. What was SRM Games's response? To delete the post about 2 hours later; no comment. (I archived the post before it was deleted.) [h1]Conclusion[/h1] The shadiness, aggressiveness, & mass censorship lead me to not recommend this game. Do not buy this. Do not buy Shooting Blaster Big Bang Boom. Do not buy any of the upcoming games advertised on his web site. The Streisand Effect is in full bloom.

I got the key from a giveaway , so first off all thanks to the publishers for the free game. I only played this game for around 15 min. , but as far as i can tell it seems to be a new approach to the tetris like genre, but far more challenging and with a quite steep learning curve, nonetheless quite enjoyable at it"s core with realy intuitive controls The store page does the game justice, it delivers what it promises.

Hi All, I've played this game for over an hour, and it's great! This is bascially a 3D real time puzzle game with themes, levels, leaderboards, achievements and 3D visuals. I chose to play in the star system theme (one of a few), and each level brought me to a different planet on the way to the Sun. Each level of each theme can unlock a story card about it (for instance, a description of Neptune), which I thought was pretty cool. There are also enough achievements for the achievers out there to keep you playing for countless hours. There is a great many ways that you can customize both the pit size (where you put the pieces) and pieces types (basic or more advanced). You can pick different themes, like solar system, or forest and others. Each level gets you closer to your end goal, the last level, in which I'm pretty sure you won't survive very long in! You can also customize different effects and graphical settings. The gameplay keeps things interesting, where you can rotate the pit itself for whichever angle you want. Clearing out the entire pit gives bonus points of course. Each level is timed, and you have to survive long enough if you want to make it to the next level. You need a set of great reflexes and spacial imagination to progress further into the next levels. The game runs on my machine (2011 purchased, HD RADEON 6870) on max settings without a crash or issues. Recommended!

Bought this game because it looked cool from the trailer, it is awesome :) Very happy with my purchase.
