A puzzle platformer in which you’re a sentient, jumping box journeying through a lovely cardboard world. [hr][/hr] This game at its core is a very charming little collect-a-thon, tasking you with making your way through different levels by solving simple puzzles and conquering platforming challenges. There are four stages in total, each being rather lengthy and sporting a distinct theme along with unique mechanics. Your most basic interactions are of course jumping and running (or more accurately: sliding), which are enhanced by various items you can carry and use in rather creative ways. Examples include stacking basic (lifeless) boxes, triggering explosives and using hover-boxes to fly. Pile Up! Uses these different mechanics in quite creative ways and paces their introduction well, making sure you never become bored of its gameplay. Up to 4 players can work together in coop, with levels adapting but generally becoming a bit easier as more players are added, due to being able to use each other as platforms. Overall, Pile Up!’s levels aren’t too challenging, making for a rather relaxed and fun experience that never got frustrating for me and the friend I played with. Things can also become quite chaotic, with some of the item interactions regularly creating unexpected situations one can’t help but laugh at. Throughout the game’s levels, you can find various collectibles, a certain amount of which is required to unlock new levels, though you’ll probably end up having enough for this just by following the levels’ main paths. Apart from that, collectibles are also used to unlock bonus routes in each level, skins for your box and a couple of multiplayer mini games, which make for a nice change of pace. Replaying levels to get every collectible was a good time, thanks in large part to charm oozing out of every corner of the game. I have to mention however, that the size of each level combined with their branching structure can certainly lead to you missing paths and stumbling around for a while as you try to figure out what you missed. The game’s presentation is lovely, with a pretty unique look that’s put together wonderfully and some decent if not outstanding background music. Both of which make Pile Up! Feel quite cozy and complement its fun gameplay very well. [hr][/hr] In the end, I can only recommend giving the game a try as I had heaps of fun with it. Note: Pile Up! allows you to change the icons displayed when playing with a controller, meaning you can seamlessly use various controllers through Steam Input.

和室友两个人一起玩的，由于我们两个都喜欢偷道具，导致路只能往前走不能往回走，即使重载也不一定有道具回来，所以大家偷道具的时候脑子里一定想清楚了，不要只看着那个小马扎，然后，如果硬是改不掉小偷小摸的习惯，那尽量一次性把圆环全拿了，耐心点多找找，不然回头开不完那个星星关卡。ps：真的蛮好玩的，而且很难吵架。
